App 3.0 Will not connect to Battery Cam Pro - Complete Failure

Error Code -15 on every Battery Cam Pro I own.
App 2.x connects just fine.

RADIO SILENCE from WYZE on this APP business.
Since WYZE will not let us revert back to APP 2.x - I’m quoting to replace every WYZE device I have.

Since I have 40+ Cameras 90+ Devices 1000 miles apart, 43+ Years in IT development,
I’d consider myself a power user.
Contact me and I’d be willing to work with you on changes features for the App 3.0 to make it usable.

Maybe check with @jonny5 .

His battery cam worked a couple hours ago.

I’m envious of your skill set.
My Batt. Cam.Pro has yet to connect to my server. I’ve done all troubleshooting steps, including deleting this device from my phone. Then, reloaded it. Same prob.

Today, after three weeks of repetitive connection disfunction, I noticed that my Error Code lost digits- so, there was a minor change. The Error Code was 4864. Today, EC 15, like most other folks on this forum.

I cannot adjust most of the Settings, either. They auto-default to other option(s).

I want to speak highly of Wyze, yet this bug has me mulling over the term, “Knowingly sold a faulty product.” The ftc doesn’t appreciate fraud very much.

AND… 24 hours later, I can connect to the Battery CAM Pros. You are correct, changes are being implemented behind the scenes.
It still doesn’t excuse the 3.0 rollout and the sad state of Silence on the fall out.

Keeping in mind, forum users are a small subset of the total user base and onsidering I’ve only seen only a few positive comments on App 3.0 , they should be working harder to communicate their plans on fixing app 3.0.

Wyze outdoor has not worked since middle of May 2024. New App still no service. Customer service sucks, put in 4 trouble tickets , they are morons.

Get a Ring Camera.

People who are happy don’t need to come to a forum to say so.

No problems with mine. Stayed up throughout the storm even.
