Is anyone else having problem with window alignment in events app on iPad? This is working fine on iPhone. I cannot set the filter or cameras. I have restarted app but have not gone thru more diagnostics yet. I am on 3.8.5.11.
3.8.5 (11) is working fine for me on an iPad, but I don’t have Cam Unlimited Pro. I also haven’t updated to iPadOS 26 yet. Still running iPadOS 18.7.2.
Would you mind if I merge your topic to the 3.8.5.11 announcement topic for better visibility to Wyze? This is a horrible bug that precludes basic functionality tied to a premium subscription service for those using iPads.
When you finish your call with support, will you please submit a log(s) and post both the support ticket number and Log IDs?
Since the last update when I open the events tab on my iPad and then try to select the cameras or importance the popup screen that opens is large and doesn’t allow me to see the checkboxes. It works fine on my iPhone. Thoughts or ideas?
Any reason I am just getting an email today 11/17, to update app to 3.8.5 when the hotfix 3.8.6.723 has already been auto installed for a couple of weeks? Is Wyze really that far behind communicating outside of the forum?
I don’t have an answer, but I think that’s a good question to ask, especially in a Wyze News topic, and I hope you receive a response. For whatever it’s worth, someone else started a discussion about that in another topic earlier, and more recently I saw another user suggesting that it’s a phishing message, but I don’t believe that’s accurate. Personally, I wonder if it’s part of a messaging blitz to get users to update because of VerifiedView and a drive to have fewer people using the outdated v2.50x app, plus some specific newer firmware (like what’s been tested for Cam Pan v3) requires v3.8.5+. I’m really just speculating at this point, though.
