Whatever you changed between x.953 Which installed for me earlier today, and the small iteration now to x.955 it’s a huge improvement. I was about to let you know that the new app I got today had huge lagging issues such as me selecting an icon and it not doing anything for several seconds and wasn’t connecting to some of my V4 cams and some other weird things. Then I just saw this post that there is a tiny iteration update to x.955 and I installed it before saying anything else, and now all those problems are solved. So whoever caught on to that and fixed them so quick, well done. 
I may have spoken too soon. It looks like I’m still having trouble loading some devices from the favorites screen. For some of my cameras on the favorite screen, I try to tap on them to open them up and the tap isn’t doing anything. But then randomly sometimes it will get fixed and start working. But then I go to other places in the app and eventually come back to the favorites screen and the taps aren’t working anymore to access the cameras on the favorites screen. I don’t know what the bug is and it’s not 100% of the time, but I am still having some weird issue where sometimes tapping on a camera in the favorites tab it is unresponsive.
Well that explains why the WYZE app updated twice for me when I installed updates earlier today on my Samsung Galaxy S23.
Count me in on bugs with android version 3.21.0(955)
I just got the update this a.m. and my Favorites screen removed my scale model WHSCL1. When I took the star off and on, it put it back, but it now takes up two tiles on the favorites screen. It allows you to go into the scale settings though. I am just going to use it via the devices screen until the new version of the Android app arrives. Hopefully they paused the rollout.

I’m having the same issues as you. Tapping on cams will not bring them up. Even tapping on the sound icon will not change it. Started happening with Android Wyze app v3.21.
If you have items on the favorites screen that will not work can I get a log and maybe a video of what happens.

I’ve been trying all day to replicate it but my cameras were working with every tap so far this afternoon. Then I noticed that other devices were still not working with taps and were unresponsive to them. So I was able to capture a video of it and get a log. I attached the video to the log so if you pull up the log you can see the video.
Yesterday, the taps were completely unresponsive For cameras in the favorites list, but the cameras were working today. However, I was able to show that it wasn’t working for bulb groups, air purifier, thermostat, sensors, etc. for the video, it records and shows taps visually so you can see when I am tapping it doesn’t respond. The nice scroll up to a camera and show that it works on the cameras now, then scroll back down to the other icons in the favorites list and they are unresponsive. That same thing was happening with cameras yesterday intermittently. It might still be happening now intermittently but the cameras have been working for me so far today. Could change at anytime though.

Why isn’t the notification sound I have picked actually working anymore? Ever since this new version released 8/31/26 the notification sound changed to sound 3 even tho I have sound 2 selected.
iOS app 3.21.0.16 displays private Wyze Scale measurements on the Favorites/Home screen.
After updating to 3.21.0.16, my favorited Wyze Scale now displays Weight, BMI, Body Fat and Muscle Mass directly on the Home/Favorites screen. Previously I could keep the Scale as a selectable favorite without displaying these personal measurements.
There appears to be no option in the Scale settings or the Favorites long-press menu to hide the measurements while keeping the Scale as a favorite.
Please restore the previous behavior or provide a setting to hide personal Scale metrics on the Home/Favorites screen.
Update: I confirmed the same behavior on the current Android app, so this appears to be a cross-platform change rather than an iOS-specific issue. Also confirmed on device that was sleeping that v3.20.0 (20) does not have this experience.
I am having all the same issues that have been mentioned with this wyze app update…fix it quick or let us roll back.
For the unresponsive favorite items, I have been able to replicate this and the team is currently working on it. For the scale UI change, I have been forwarding the information to the team.
I just received an update on the unresponsive favorite item issue, we have found the cause and are now working on a hotfix which we hope to have out later this week. I will keep you updated.
Looking forward to the Fix for favorites issue.
I’m also having a problem with OG Landscape - there is a black bar at the bottom.
Samsung S23 running One UI 8.5/Android 16
My V4 displays properly in Landscape.
Some further info:
- Image is also cut off at the top
- Bar is black in dark mode otherwise white
- Bar shows on liveview and watching SD card video
- Bar does not show on Event images
We know about the issue with the black bar and are still working on it.
