We have a new app release with some small improvements and bug fixes!

  • Android： 3.16.0.890

What’s new:

  • Added ability to convert existing “I’m Home/I’m Away” shortcuts into new location-triggered automations.
  • Added a “Camera in Privacy Mode” status display on the Favorites Page for supported PTZ cameras.
  • Added dark mode support for some dialogs.
  • Bug fixes

I’m glad to see added work on dark mode again finally!

I do think the next priority should be adding dark mode to the last 3 tabs in the app (Monitoring, Shop, Account) and the camera settings page.

STILL no fix for vertically stretched video in landscape orientation for iPad with V2 cams.

And to the Camera selection screen when using EVENTS. It is a blinder at night.

The filter? I’d agree with prioritizing that. :+1:

Yes, the filters off the Events where you select the camera(s).
That FILTERs screen will blind you at night !

I was so hoping they got that one fixed in this new version!

Playback from an SD card has not allowed movement of the video while zoomed in for the past 2 releases. Works fine when watching an event though. Please fix this bug.

It likely is somehow related, as there were suddenly an additional set of automations for leaving home and returning that I had not created myself (and which I deleted). I never received notifications when I left or returned home from my automations, and I can’t find a way to turn those notifications off.

I don’t know, and I don’t use geolocation, but I wanted to ask here in order to hopefully get better visibility and possibly a response from Wyze.

Geolocations are as flaky as they come. Sometimes work flawlessly for a while and then they have a mind of their own.

Right, which is one of the reasons I don’t rely on them; however, this issue seems to be about unwanted notifications, related to this feature, which users have no apparent means to disable. That’s how I understand it, anyway.

All of the sudden I started getting bombarded by these. I’d like to know who thought this was a good idea.

Not me. I’ve been seeing that—and frequently being annoyed by it—for a while now. It seems unnecessary, and I want it to stop.

I’ve been getting that too. It’s been really annoying. Especially since I actually have Some form of location turned on.

It’s baffling how someone thinks annoying customers is a good idea. :zany_face:

I am really surprised more people aren’t complaining about these new notifications.
