I’ve been waiting since May for a warranty replacement Air Purifier, some on the forums were saying it’s back in stock but customer support told me that it isn’t. How much longer Wyze? You’ve had my money for months now and I have a unit that doesn’t work as advertised.
It WAS back in stock around 6:30PM PT on Aug 2nd. As soon as it came back in stock I texted my brother and my neighbor and my neighbor-friend even got one of them. Several of my friends on another Wyze Community platform also ordered several of them. The problem is that these are so high demand, that as soon as they come back in stock they have always sold out in less than a day. They were sold out the next morning. So it is just likely that they were already sold out by the time customer services was contacted about it because they were made available after support closes for the day, and they were sold out again just after the time Support comes back online the next day, so as far as support is concerned, they are not back in stock, which is true. They sold out fast.
Nice to know that warranty replacements weren’t given priority over new orders. Wyze is not the same company concerned with customer support and all about the buck now.
Well, not just that, but I submitted a review stating I lived the purifier but that it’s rather useless if you can never get replacement filters for it, and that’s why I was giving it 3 stars, and they rejected the review.
So there is some manipulation going on as well where potential buyers never get to see the whole picture before buying the product.
The reviews are managed by a third party who is in charge of moderating reviews to ensure they don’t break any rules. Try submitting your review again, because it could have been a bad mod you got.
Got it. I’ll give it a try.
I know the 3rd party also screens for certain words and automatically rejects reviews containing certain things that have been known in the past to result in legal issues when allowed to be publicized. I don’t know what all of them are, but one example was someone trying to use the word “die” in their review. The review company automatically rejected the review as being something that could have potential liability issues if published publicly…when looked into, the user was told they are definitely welcome to submit a negative review, but just resubmit it without that word since the 3rd party company was rejecting anything with that word (at that time at least) for some reason. I’m not saying the word die was in your review, but the company might’ve auto-filtered it for something similar. Just reword your review. They don’t intend to filter/censor negative/positive reviews.
I heard it was supposed to come back in stock end of August, but that obviously didn’t happen.
One of my friends had an order for these set to back ordered and they recently emailed to tell him that the next shipment is due to arrive September 6th.
Obviously it could be a little sooner or later, but that was the estimate they told him in an email. So expect they will fulfill the backorders first and then list the rest up for sale soon after that.
