Wyze 47 won't connect

That is funny (odd). I just turned off this feaure on my phone a couple days ago to save battery life. I don’t have a watch, but very interesting. (Now I see I replied to a reply to an old post.)

Welcome to the Forum, @sdwalker17!

I think they’ve been listed as “Sold out”/“Out of stock” for quite some time, and I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for them to show up again. I think that’s unfortunate, because I like my Watch 47 and would like to see it (and/or a newer, better version) get more love from Wyze.

These topics might shed some light:

Okay, I’m having this problem and it’s 2025… I’ve checked the app multiple times, and my phone settings, and restarted my phone and the watch several times.

Providing a more detailed description of what you’re experiencing and when, and also what specific troubleshooting steps you’ve attempted and/or settings you’ve changed/verified, might help others in the community to know where to begin in attempting to provide assistance. Sharing your app version is always a good place to start, as well, and sometimes knowing your OS version can be helpful, too.

I’m having this issue, but it’s been three years since the initial issue…

yeah me too. 2025 i got two wyze watches one is mine the other my brothers, im on oneplus 9 while my brother has the oneplus13. android users and dont have iphone available to try. but so far i have reset my bluetooth connections. allowed all permissions on wyze app. reset the wyze watches. we stopped wearing them for a while so there is that. but i have long hold to factory reset. i get the qr code. manual pairing. nothing works. i even loaded old apks. my next hope is that iphone will actually add it and i can find a firmware upgrade that will make it useful on android again… its crazy that it just wont connect. oh it pairs fine on bluetooth and its visible as a device on bluetooth but does nothing to allow the app to connect. just says fail. restart bluetooth blah blah. i have also attemted it on a samsung table 7 i think it is. it fails just as well.

nope doesn’t work

I have a Pixel 6 pro, Android 15 Build number AP4A.250105.002
Google play update Jan 1 2025, Security update Jan 5, 2025
Wyze app updated
All location permissions given as well as Near by permissions.
I have both a wyze watch 44 and 47.
Both were paired with a phone previously.
My wife (iphone)had the 44 and didn’t wear it
I had the 47 with my Pixel 6 pro,
My band broke, so i tried to delete both watches and unpair from the app so i could use the 44 with my phone.
Both wyze phone apps gave an error (can’t remember what it said) during the unpairing process but both watches were removed from the Wyze app.

The watches did not return to the QR screen for pairing, I did the hard reset on both watches and now i can’t get either to pair. I have tried every combination of resetting the bluetooth, restarting everything over 10 times for each watch.

I also tried to reconnect both watches to my wife’s iphone and neither will pair with her phone either.

Any ideas?

Same problem here. I was having trouble updating the do not disturb setting on the watch via the app, so I reset the watch to pair it again. But the pairing failed. Every time I’ve triedit, it said “pairing failed”.

I tried a bunch of things and no luck on any of them:

  • Restarting phone
  • Different Wi-Fi networks
  • Bluetooth on/off
  • Restarting watch
  • Turning all permissions (including nearby devices) on
  • Trying two different watches I own
  • Uninstalling, reinstalling the app
  • Clearing all data on app
  • Uninstalling app and installing an old 2.x version
  • Buying a new 47c from eBay!
  • Creating a brand new wyze app on another phone

I think we might be screwed. Please file support logs so wyze gets the message and fixes this!

To be honest i believe wyze killed the bluetooth pairing probably with the last firmware. My two watches are 47c for color… its too much of a coinsidence that both fail to pair. I know bluetooth is working because they pair on bluetooth just fine out side of the app. But the app totally is like nah bro go buy another watch its been too long already we got to make :money_mouth_face: money.

Yup, tried a bunch of those things too and forgot to mention them. You certainly covered all of the bases. This sucks, I didn’t know how much i depended on a watch until now. Geez guess i need to start looking for something else. Wyze got such a good start, i feel like their quality has gone backwards in recent times.

I agree. I’ve tried the whole gamut of the list they sent me on two different wise 47 watches as well. No luck. I think the last update is when I started having connectivity issues. Time to find a new brand

Same. I have two Wyze 47 watches… I factory reset both watches and removed them from my accounts devices list.

I’ve tried uninstalling the wyze app and using different Wyze app versions on more than one phone (android).

Ive tried ensuring ALL permissions are allowed for the wyze app on my phones.

I tried using WIFI AND cellular data.

I tried scanning the barcode and manually adding the watch. Both allow the watch to get to start the ‘pairing’ but then immediately it kicks out on both the watch and the phone saying that the pairing failed.

Not sure what else to do.

Let’s sue wyze for unfair practices

I’m having the same issue with iOS devices. The watch was fine and I did a factory reset to give this one to my granddaughter and I can’t pair the watch to any device now. Getting a Network disconnect error message. This is not related to my internet connection. That’s very stable.

I’m seeing the same behavior. I contacted support and sent logs, but they said I wouldn’t hear back even if they did decide to fix this. :pensive:

I get the same error with my wife’s iPhone. My android just says failed to pair.

Same problem here. I was just griping in another thread here about how I unpaired my recently still working 47 from my iPhone15 just days ago to switch over to a nicer spare 47 I had. New one wouldn’t pair like many are describing. So “Ok, its a dud, I’ll just re-pair my trusty original beat up watch”… However, no dice. Same behavior while it tries to pair.

Does anyone recall if the Wyze Watch was ever listed as a product category in the Wyze App support ticket submission process? I thought just now Ide get an official support ticket take on this and I noticed every product is there BUT the Watch. Even the Wyze Band is still listed. I’m suspecting this is a quiet tell these have been been made defunked… sniffles

Its here

Interesting. Thanks for finding that link on their website. However I’m not seeing the watch listed in the current iOS Wyze App product support submission section. The app is required to connect to the Watch. Odd it’s not part of the in App support, no?
