beaten with the holy schtick

Brutal.

That made me think of one of my favorite words: bludgeon.

It’s just fun to say.

There is no wrong answer…

…but this is whence this arose, an actual holy stick that made me chuckle, apparently protocol of some kind…

May goodwill and good faith guide us toward the light.

Did you get it from the Lama?

Is that the one that can get you out of (or into more) trouble?

His holiness knowing everything? Or the long-necked caddy-sheep?

To bludgeon the ground behind the ball with the clubhead.

Chunk!

I was thinking about Carl Spackler’s story from Caddyshack. So, he’s got that goin’ for him…which is nice.

I believe the “G” is for :golfing_man:. :man_shrugging:

Things that are never supposed to happen.

‘Carl Spackler’ used to randomly pick up regular people hitchhiking on Sunset Blvd in the hills. I base this on a single report from a colleague at the time who had once been a ‘moonie’ but was quite a regular fellow even nice.

I picked up a guy once who (plausibly) claimed he was the brother of the guy who shot Medium Cool. It was not my habit to do so but for some reason that time i did.

And I was walking in the opposite direction on the other side of the street when Neil Young and Stephen Stills first pulled up in Neil’s hearse. (This I may have dreamed but hear’s a pic.)

:goat: are nice. They eat weeds, tin cans and garbage and go Baaaah!

And a bar they trailered from Quonset Hut, NY to Miami, FL in the late 80s. Suffered some cracks in the drywall and marble floors but they patched them pretty good and got to work.
