Why is my husband see thru?

My husband got his phone from Jeep reached in to grab it and saw on the app he was translucent !!

Perhaps you just discovered a long-hidden family secret?

I’ve occasionally seen video glitch and show weird pixelation or funky colors, and it’s generally a transient issue. Just recently I think I saw a video where someone was walking on a grass yard and the grass color/texture was showing where the person’s shirt should’ve been, almost like a transparency issue if someone is standing in front of a green screen and wearing green clothing. (You can find videos of goofs or pranks online of this happening with local TV weather reporters.)

If it’s a persistent issue, then I’d try to log it after it happens and open a ticket with Support. For a fleeting incident with a camera at this price, I don’t really give it a lot of additional thought.

Also, was this when it was dark with Night Vision turned on? Also, aiming through double pane windows can manifest some strange lighting effects at night.

For what it’s worth, I have Smart cameras from at least six different companies, and I have seen similar stuff from at least four of them so far that I’ve noticed. So, I think this is fairly common in the industry. He can’t say exactly what the cause is because I’m sure there are a lot of things that play a part in it. Solutions can also vary. I agree with Crease that if it’s persistent then consider submitting some kind of log and support ticket.

I do get some pulsar light effects from lights across my street at night because I am aiming through double pane windows.

OP, please post some pictures or videos if you can.
