Where has the Person detection filter gone to in events with Cam Plus Lite?

Another app update today on the google play store… The person detection filter still not working…please get this fixed

It’s becoming obvious that the “friendly Wyze team” is not interested in supporting the product. I’ve spent a good deal of coin on Wyze products. And this is disappointing.

I’m throwing in the towel and replacing my setup with Tapo cameras which have better resolution anyway with no blackmail by disabling features.

PS. There are 97 Wyze team members. You’d think at least one would respond even if just to say, “we’re working on it.”

The forum moderators have disappeared from this thread. Wyze has never even acknowledged the problem (but that’s normal for wyze),

So what is it:

  • Wyze thinks this will get more paid subscriptions (so this is intentional)
  • Wyze is simply incapable of fixing this (or apparently much else)

I want to keep up with the latest everything but I can’t, stuck in the past (app), the last one that worked for me. :man_shrugging:

Still no fix or response from Wyze. Not Cool.

Still an issue with latest beta Wyze Android app 3.3.0.b596 as noted here. I don’t expect it to be fixed anytime soon. No issue with Wyze iOS app.

@trekgod3 managed to find a workaround here, but it didn’t work for me.

I tagged several of you in here in the release announcement thread, but I guess I might as well make the post here as well for any other users who may be following this thread and didn’t post in here for me to know about them having the issue, or for those who come to this thread later with a search. It looks like Wyze fixed this issue with the latest update today, as reported by @grapefruityoda who tested it out:

If it’s still not working for any of you after the update to that version or higher, please let me know and verify your exact app version as well as post a log so I can have someone look into it.
