Where has the Person detection filter gone to in events with Cam Plus Lite?

Hi,

I have Cam Plus Lite and I was always able to filter on Person detection events in the Android app. Now, with the new app, it seems I cannot use this filter anymore. Is this yet another functionality that has been removed while it used to be included?

Please tell me I am just not looking in the right location and that this still is possible with Cam Plus Lite.

I guess you both have Cam Plus instead of Cam Plus Lite? Because I see that button to filter on Person detection events, but when I tap it I get a screen to sell me a subscription:

I do have the person events still btw, I just can’t filter on them which is annoying because I have a lot of motion events because of insects, the wind, etc.

Nope. All my cameras are on Lite.

Hmm okay, then it seems to be a bug I guess. I will reinstall the app to see if that helps.

Just reinstalled the app and still the same issue. All my 7 cams are on Cam Plus Lite.

I also checked the advanced filter screen and the person filter is not available:

Have you tried going into Settings of each camera - Event Recording - Smart Detections?

I am on Cam Plus Lite (but App version 2.50) and see this screen.

The app version I use is 3.1.0.564 (latest version).

I just went through the version history:

It seems version 3.0.5.558 has introduced this issue with the “new filter design”.

I downgraded to 3.0.0.519 and this fixed the issue. Is there an easy way to report a bug without going through the support chat?

In the App you can Submit a Log. Then post your Log Number on this forum and Tag “WyzeJasonJ” by putting an at sign before his name.

Haha, great! I still have to log the bug so they can fix it, but that will be something for later today or one of the next days.

I always use APKPure to find older versions of Android apps.

Here is the link to grab older Wyze App versions for Android.

No way for iOS.

I’m using Android.

Downgraded to the aforementioned version.
