Is there a way we can watch our cameras on our Smart Tv’s?
Yes, lots of ways. The answer And partially depends on what kind of smart TV you have.
But some common options:
- Google home - connect your Wyze account to Google home and use Google home on your smart TV.
- Amazon Alexa - connect your Wyze account to Alexa and use Alexa on your smart TV
- RTSP - some Wyze cameras support rtsp directly already (more coming slowly) while others still require a 3rd party bridge like Tiny cam app or docker Wyze bridge to convert the stream to rtsp. Then you can steam your camera through lots of different kinds of apps or directly through a web browser. This will work on pretty much every TV.
- If your TV supports the tinycam app directly, you could just get that app and connect your Wyze account to it and be able to view all of your cameras through that.
- If your TV operating system is based on Android in some way (which most of them are) you could always sideload the Wyze app onto your TV. This is a little tricky especially now that apps aren’t natively in an APK format anymore and are primarily using a bundle format. But there is a way to convert a bundle installation app into an APK and then side load it onto most TVs. It is a little more complicated and technical but possible.
- use a browser (If your TV doesn’t have one installed, look in there app store to download a browser) to login to the Wyze portal at my.wyze.com and you can view your cameras directly from Wyze. Note That without a cam plus subscription, you will be limited to viewing one camera on this website at a time. You can change which camera is available once every 30 days. Otherwise you can view every camera that has a subscription. If you have cam unlimited, you can view all of your cameras.
- cast your phone/tablet screen to the TV and use the Wyze camera that way but able to see everything on a bigger screen
- various other methods too, but the above are probably the most common/popular methods
Depends on the TV. If it has alexa or google home you can link them to that which then allows you to view them on your TV. Android powered TVs can run the Tiny Cam app which will also work, but does require you to give a 3rd party (a fairly trusted one) your Wyze credentials.
I have a sony Bravia smart tv. I was able to load the browser app and connect to the Wyze Portal.
Not saying it will work for all TVs,.but a definite option
In my case I have a Fire TV Stick (cheap) and I linked my cams to alexa (the fire stick is the only alexa device I have, don’t trust the smart speakers). I can say into the remote “alexa, show me the front door” and it starts streaming pretty quick.
Maybe not the best solution if you already have a smart TV, but I’ve found the smart TV apps to always be pretty slow and lacking, and just totally replaced them with the fire stick since it is cheap and more powerful. Never even use the built in apps.
That being said, I hardly ever view the cams on the TV, but it is neat to have. Note you can only view one cam at a time, unlike some of the other options where you can have several.

Viewing on TV
I noticed in another forum about viewing cameras on smart TVs. This is what I found totally by accident. I have an android S25 ultra and pulled down my quick settings panel (where it shows you all your stuff like flashlight, Bluetooth ect.) There is a panel that says wireless DX. What is it, Wireless DeX (short for Wireless Desktop Experience) is a Samsung feature that allows you to transform your smartphone into a pocket-sized desktop computer
From there find your wyze app and you can view your cameras on your TV screen, plus do lots of other things.
I don’t know about other types of phones, maybe casting. I believe its pretty much the same except with this you can still use your phone to do other things while monitoring your cameras. Hope this helps
