Scroll back in the thread, looks like your vac rode up on something with one wheel or got caught on something and skewed.
So it was thinking it was heading one direction while really heading another.

That happens to me too. The vacuum can’t find its way back to the charging station and I have to carry it back. I’m about tired of this vacuum! My last robot vacuum that wasn’t a Smart Vacuum never had this much trouble!
I have this exact same issue now, and have had the same issue twice before. It starts for seemingly no reason. It’ll work for weeks, then, bam: superimposed maps. I’ve updated and remapped after every update. Now they have implemented quick mapping, which is nice, but feels like a Band-aid solution. They need a deep analysis of the issue to fix it because clearly it is a widespread issue. Wyze, please read this forum. I’ll supply all my logs. It’s getting really weird.
First run, it thought the bathroom door was closed. It wasn’t. It then proceeded to clean about 90% of the living room, then claimed it was done and went home.
Second run, I tried just bathroom and kitchen. It did half the bathroom on a tilt, claimed it was done, went to the base, but before it started to charge, came to the living room, shut down for a moment, then went back and charged.
The heck?
