I just use TinkerCad. Simple but can do pretty much everything I need.
I use the following:
- Tinkercad: online software (https://www.tinkercad.com/)
- Freecad: Free Cad Software (https://www.freecad.org/)
- 3DBuilder by Microsoft: Microsoft Simple 3DBuilder. The download is in the Microsoft App Store and is Free. Here is a link to some info (How to use 3D Builder for Windows - Microsoft Support)
- Bambu Studio: I have the Bambu X1C so this is what you use with that printer
- MakerWorld Labs: I use this for simple stuff and to see newly added options. This is owned by Bambu as well (MakerLab)
My Primary is FreeCad and then 3DBuilder. I use TinkerCad a little. Then Bambu Studios before printing.
Thank you all for the info.
My daughterās boyfriend is getting a new printer and heās gifting me the old one. Itās a Creality Ender-3 V2 Neo and heās using Blender for modelling. I thought Iād get as much info before I get my feet wet. Havenāt used a 3D software in ages. Last one I used was Adobe Dimensions back in the early 90ās mainly to create packaging visual mockups.
Hi @toaster604, hate to bother you but were you able to get in touch with @victormaletic, Iāve used his spreadsheet before but now itās inaccessible. As a long-term lurker, I was used to seeing Victorās post often and itās been a long while since Iāve seen Victor post on here. Iāve tried contacting him on his email and it turns out that his email address is inactive. Does anyone know if Victor is doing fine since havenāt seen much activity here?
On a side note, does someone have a copy of this spreadsheet saved: Sq Large Tube Glare Shield.xlsx from this post: forums.wyze.com/t/official-wyze-v3-window-mount-is-live-just-hidden-at-time-of-writing/173090/80
Hi @aujla7564 no luck on my end. I tried direct messaging @victormaletic as well as email but havenāt heard back. Iām still searching for some mounts if anyone happen to saved a copy offline
Are there any angled windows mounts which would work with the v3?
Does the angle matter? For example, left/right, up/down?
Or do double pane windows have too much glare for angled window mounts in general?
I tried Wyzeās window mount and it works when the camera is directly flush with the window
If your goal is to reduce window reflection, check out this thread.
Thank you, I saw the thread but mine works perfectly when pressed right against the window.
The angle isnāt the greatest but Iām not sure if an angled window mount would work with double pane windows.
