V3 angled window mount

I just use TinkerCad. Simple but can do pretty much everything I need.

I use the following:

My Primary is FreeCad and then 3DBuilder. I use TinkerCad a little. Then Bambu Studios before printing.

Thank you all for the info.

My daughter’s boyfriend is getting a new printer and he’s gifting me the old one. It’s a Creality Ender-3 V2 Neo and he’s using Blender for modelling. I thought I’d get as much info before I get my feet wet. Haven’t used a 3D software in ages. Last one I used was Adobe Dimensions back in the early 90’s mainly to create packaging visual mockups.

Hi @toaster604, hate to bother you but were you able to get in touch with @victormaletic, I’ve used his spreadsheet before but now it’s inaccessible. As a long-term lurker, I was used to seeing Victor’s post often and it’s been a long while since I’ve seen Victor post on here. I’ve tried contacting him on his email and it turns out that his email address is inactive. Does anyone know if Victor is doing fine since haven’t seen much activity here?

On a side note, does someone have a copy of this spreadsheet saved: Sq Large Tube Glare Shield.xlsx from this post: forums.wyze.com/t/official-wyze-v3-window-mount-is-live-just-hidden-at-time-of-writing/173090/80

Hi @aujla7564 no luck on my end. I tried direct messaging @victormaletic as well as email but haven’t heard back. I’m still searching for some mounts if anyone happen to saved a copy offline

Are there any angled windows mounts which would work with the v3?

Does the angle matter? For example, left/right, up/down?

Or do double pane windows have too much glare for angled window mounts in general?

I tried Wyze’s window mount and it works when the camera is directly flush with the window

If your goal is to reduce window reflection, check out this thread.

Thank you, I saw the thread but mine works perfectly when pressed right against the window.

The angle isn’t the greatest but I’m not sure if an angled window mount would work with double pane windows.

I bought one for my OG but it’s only a 20 degree tilt which doesn’t make much of a difference, I think a 30-40 degree tilt would work or even an adjustable one that can slide up or down while being snuggly attached to the window to avoid glare. But I’ve seen other peoples post on this forum that goes as far back as 3 or more years and wyze has yet to address or comment on if they’re even considering making anything like that. If anyone with a 3D printer reads this, I feel you can make a pretty penny selling them. I’m pretty sure that alot of users don’t want to drill a hole by the window to mount them outside.
