This feature is brand-new in the 3.4.0 builds. Does anyone have any insight into the differences?
It seems to uncheck notifications as needed when you change the different settings. I just can’t seem to figure out what each setting means.

@WyzeMatt @WyzeMengtingHu now that this new selection option is in public beta, could one of you elaborate for us on what the difference is between between all 3 of these options?
For example, is it something like “Only Important” will only show things like a person walking up to the door, packages, or things that seem suspicious? And then Curated is mostly any AI detection (Person, Pet, etc) or maybe Curated takes several cameras into account and makes a similar event only send one notification instead of a bunch (for example, the front of my house has 2 FLPros and a DuoCDB, and then inside the house there are a couple cameras, etc. Does curated do something like take the same person event from multiple cameras and condense it down to 1 notification about what was seen overall?
What is the threshold for what is is Important or curated? Can someone tell us the difference or elaborate on some examples please, so that @Earl.Automation and others can accurately test this out and know what they’re supposed to even be looking for or trying out in the Beta App?
Thanks!
I set it to all 3 settings on a V4 camera. The Smart Detection Events were unchecked for all things (People, Pets, Packages) when “Only Important” and “Curated” were checked… but the camera still notified me when I walked in front of it.
“All Notifications” only had check boxes for Pets and Packages. But it still notified if I walked in front of it.
Not sure what to make of the settings. I like that they are headed a direction to help control Descriptive Alerts. At least in concept!
