You’re welcome, and I’m glad that’s helpful.
In the current production Wyze app I’m using (3.7.8.702, not on the beta channel), it’s telling me that my Cam v4s running firmware 4.52.9.3415 are all “Up to Date”, and that’s pretty typical. Wyze often does slow or phased roll-outs of firmware and sometimes apps so that they can watch for problems and halt if necessary. Using a β app version, you might see some firmware releases sooner, but I don’t think that necessarily applies to getting production firmware versions earlier than non-β users.
Your description of testing longer time lapses is an interesting observation, and I still think that could be useful feedback for whichever app version you’re using that seems to exhibit the problem (so I’d consider posting your results—or linking them—to Wyze app 3.8 Beta Test 9/17/2025 for the app you say you’re using except that a newer Release Candidate version has been posted since then, and Google Play Store will probably offer that to you soon if it hasn’t already). The only testing I’ve done specific to this issue since I began reading about it has been for shorter time lapses (~10 minutes with a 6-second capture interval), and those have all succeeded despite some apparent UI glitches.
