V4 Timelapse option not available

I’m trying to start a timelapse on my v4 camera like I have done numerous times on previous versions but when I go into my v4 camera, there is no “MORE” option visible which is where I go on my other cameras to initiate a timelapse. I do have a memory card in the camera and while it was at capacity before I attempted a timelapse, I have since reformatted the card thinking that would fix the issue. I have also tried rebooting the camera, resetting the camera, force closing the Wyze app and clearing cache with no luck. How do I get a timelapse recording started on this camera?

Cam V4 Time Lapse Not Working

It Worked! My first 5-day time lapse. It was only 54 MB. [Time Lapse (5 days) v4 Test] This does not fix your issue, but it doesn’t seem to be a global bug. I set it for 20 minute captures over 5 days, I think it was 5 days. Download was quick but I had a difficult time reading white letters on a light background*. [Screenshot_20241031_012943_Wyze] Most annoying and often reported bad idea of putting light text on a light background.

Where did you get lost? I mean that in a helpful way.

Maybe you didn’t swipe to the left?

DOH! I’m an idiot! I’ve never had to swipe on my other cameras to get to the timelapse nor was it intuitive that I could even do so! Problem solved! Thanks!

A final thought. I was looking at @Omgitstony solution, which was right and said to self–how did @Eveready2622 miss this? I went to the pan Scan v3 and looked at the layout. There is nothing in the UI to indicate that you should scroll. If you are a casual user the scroll is not apparent. It just looks like four choices. If your familiar with the camera then your memory kicks in and you remember to scroll. Long winded way of saying an appropriately placed < and > would help the casual user. …
