Setup Floodlight pro

Hi, I cannot get (Ive tried 3 different ones) floodlight pros to install. I end up with an offline camera that never activates and setup fails at second pairing step. Ive gone through the checklists of issues. My previous flloodlight with two lights (cannot remember model) installs and functions but not flloodlight pro. Ive moved my wifi router to right below the floodlight and no different.

I would contact support so they can help walk through some of the common troubleshooting they’ve found to resolve the issue.

A couple of things I would personally try in your shoes is the following:

  • Clear the app cache (in the app go to the Account Tab → App Settings → Go down to where it says “Cache File Size” and select “Clear” on the right side".
  • Restart your phone.
  • Restart your router
  • Hold the Reset button on the Floodlight Pro for like 30 seconds or more until it’s obvious it factory reset and is restarting.

Try again. This will force EVERYTHING to pull fresh with no memory leak issues, etc.

Thank you for your suggestion. I call support on the first two floodlight pros that i bought used. They could not get them to install completely. I thought it must be because they weren’t new. Bought one straight from wyze… no difference… im begining to think the pro model floodlight is defect design
