Service Advisory: Membership Services

8/11/22 2:40 PM PT - All of our services should be fully recovered and we are continuing to look into the root cause. Thank you for your patience and we apologize for any difficulty caused by this event.

8/11/22 2:00 PM PT - We are working to restore access to services. Cam Plus, Cam Plus Pro, and Wyze Home Monitoring users should see some improvement. However, Cam Plus Lite customers may experience lost video recordings and AI detection starting at 11:50 AM Pacific. We are working on resolving this issue and balancing traffic.

8/11/22 1:00 PM PT - There is an issue preventing access to membership services, in-app purchases, Cam Plus, and Wyze Home Monitoring pages. We are looking into it now and suspect it is related to today’s AWS server outage. We are working on it now and request that you check back later if you’ve been impacted.

We’ll update here but you can read our updates at:

Ill try a different browser next

Successful login to Wyze Services on Android 11 w\ Chrome as well.

There may be an issue with direct load access if you have 2FA enabled and it doesn’t recognize the previous token or your prior login credentials have expired.

Try going to https://prod.services.wyze.com/ and clicking on the Avatar in the top right, then My Account. You may have to use that same path, click Logout, and the use the same path to log back in to get a new set of credentials.

None of that worked, even on cellular with using the stock samsung browser.

I can login to my account, i just cant access anything afterwards with regards to my account.

I get this sometimes also

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

<error_description>Full authentication is required to access this resource</error_description>

unauthorized

That certainly does not sound right at all. Have you contacted customer support and received a support ticket #?

Not yet, i was hoping it was a system error. I guess ill have to

It doesn’t look like an issue with the server. And, there is no way of eacelating an account issue without first going thru CS and getting the Ticket #.

Do you have Two Factor Authentication enabled within the app? If so, have you tried disabling that and trying it?

Im talking with support right now, And i can login just fine its trying to access my account after logging in that casues the issue.

Edit

Thank you for doing the suggested steps. This is a known issue here and this is already being worked on. Kindly wait for 24 hours.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Thank you and keep safe!
