Camera came back on yesterday but went back offline this morning

OUR CAMERAS EVENTS INFO HAS NOT SHOWN Up since tge outage or security issues?,

Which firmware version does your problematic camera show?

My problem V3 is still DOA so I will try to flash to .8391 in a little while. The V3 I have in the back yard went nuts and and recorded all motion events last night (bugs, wind, raindrops) even though it is set for Smart Detections person/pet. I guess I will power cycle that one via smart plug and hope it comes back on line.

Bye Bye Wyze! My camera is still not functioning. It took me quite a long time yesterday to discover that you are the problem, not me. Other services to which I subscribe use email, website, and app notifications of service disruptions. Not you!

Of all the days I need my camera, today is especially important. Iā€™m canceling my subscription and removing the camera. Iā€™ve already ordered another one from a different company.

Well, I can only have two of the five cameras I have active at once. Three of them need to be turned off for the other two to connect. It does not matter which of the three I turn on or offā€”if I try to connect to the one I turned off, one of the two that are online will go offline. So I can only have two out of five online at one time.

Maybe, the :raccoon: gang has been MIA for a few days. I thought I could get them to fix my V3. The Possum came by but she was off the clock so no help.

My wife is using the latest iOS and she has not been able to log in for two days because the black (Start Now) cover screen only stays hidden for about 20 seconds which is not long enough for her to read the screen and type the email address and password. If that is achieved, the screen only stays up for 10 seconds waiting for the two factor code to be accessed and typed. This behavior is not what I am seeing on the iOS beta version.
English (as a second language) users need more time to read the screens and type responses.

I also have two V3 cams showing ā€œOff Lineā€ in the app camera group screen but showing ā€œLiveā€ and transmitting data on the camā€™s individual screen.

Camera came back online yesterday morning but is back offline as of early this morning. Please advise at your earliest convenience.

I do agree that there should be some form of alert other than coming here. A simple thing would be simply for them to know they are being hacked )(or at risk) and just shut it all down. If the app itself would not open, if nothing is running or automated that would make me come here. That way they donā€™t have to send an email :slight_smile: What does have me pissed off is that during all this I get emails when others respond to a post I have doneā€¦AND!!! I get freaking advertisements from Wyze to spend 90 dollars on a special 24 hour sale. Are you kidding me WYZE!!! You have time to try and get more money from me but you cant spend money to alert users to an issue and then to fix it. Go [Mod Edit]

I have 3 Cams V3 >> 2 on cloud including the above one that does connect via app etc
The 2nd one on cloud works with firmware 4.36.11.8391 connected via thier Lamp Socket guzmo.
The 3rd one, not on cloud has 4.36.11.8391 and is accesable this AM
Hoping they fix the issue or at least tell us what todo to fix the thingā€¦

Maybe I should send you my gang of :raccoon: :raccoon: to fix your issue. I only had one of three cameras not functioning yesterday. They fixed that one in a few hours :rofl: :joy:

I heard a loud sound outside around 4am. I thought it was probably a just delivery truck but I was awake and went to the Wyze app to check that camera and was unable to open the app.

The FIRST place I looked was this forum because this insanity has happened more than a few times before and I knew this was probably another total failure of the Wyze system.

After reading through forum comments I posted at around 4:30am. This was not what I had planned on doing yesterday.

Wyze firmware ā€˜upgradesā€™ often make things worse and app ā€˜updatesā€™ often break something. Not getting ANY notifications from Wyze as to their system failure is a major problem.

The entire idea of using security equipment is to feel at ease knowing thereā€™s a level of protection in place.

The system locking me out of my own security cameras anytime thereā€™s problem is INEXCUSABLE.

I donā€™t trust that my home is protected with Wyze gear in use.

I am sorry this happened, with it offline there is no way to get a log. We are looking into this, please let me know if the manual flash manages to recover it or if you run into anything different when doing that.

I will start watching this thread also.

I am having the same issue where my cam v3 is showing offline. I have restarted it, plugged it out, all to no avail. What can I do or is this something you are working on resolving?

The cameras should have come back, I believe yours came back online that went offline again if I am correct. If I am not I apologize I am trying to follow posts in all the communities and it gets tough to keep them all straight. I think you said it was on 4.10.9.1851, and you have power cycled the cam and it is still offline?
