If your devices are still offline, please try power cycling them and contact our support team at support.wyze.com if that doesn’t bring them back online.

6:47 PM PT - Recovery is still progressing. Our metrics are looking better and we’re seeing some reports of improvement in the communities. We’ll keep you updated about our progress.

6:14 PM PT - We are seeing signs of recovery but this is not resolved yet. We’ll get everything working for folks as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

5:49 PM PT - We are looking into issues preventing logging into the app and using Wyze Bulbs, Wyze Plugs, the device list, and integrations such as Alexa. Our team is looking into it now and we apologize for any inconvenience.

Seems to effect Alexa integration as all my devices appear unavailable in that app.

My Alexa App went wonky first on three different ecosystem devices mid device edit.

That’s how I knew AWS sank another server.

I still have access via the Wyze app, just not with Alexa.

Fun fact: My Wyze thermostat was off because it acquired a temperature but my hvac was still on pumping heat. I tried forcing it off in app but it would do anything. I had to then force it on by setting a higher temp and then back down to a lower temp. This may be related to this outage. :scream: Curious if others experienced this as well.

Hmmm. Were you editing a wyze device? I don’t see any major recorded aws issues today or yesterday.

Was actually editing the name on a Cloud Intelligence device but then saw a majority my Wyze bulb and plug devices and GE Sync switch devices dropped out of Alexa as unavailable\offline as well as the rest of my Cloud Intelligence devices.

Just for clarification, this is down detector which is a user driven reporting site/app. The screenshot I posted is from Aws health dashboard. Grain of salt both ways.

Service came back for 30 minutes but left again. Seven cams on 13 are offline again.

All my Events recordings have disappeared some time in the last half hour. Tried on two different tablets but no go. Live view is still alive but all Events are gone.

Rules are working. But devices can’t be controlled by alexa still. Waiting to see how IFTTT fares.
