Sense Hub died after firmware failed to update

I’ve had my Wyze products for all of 2 hours (Literally. UPS just delivered them a while ago). Haven’t even installed most of them yet, Just the hub and 3 door sensors. It was working fine at first. I went into the Monitoring section of the app and put it into Test Mode so I could check things out. It then notified me that it needed to do a firmware upgrade on the hub. I let it, but after a while it failed, and failed again on multiple retries. Now the hub will not connect. Tried using the reset button to no avail. I think it is dead unless someone has some ideas on what to do. Disappointed in this after only 2 hours.

Unplug it from power. Hold the reset button in until the hub starts to power down. Leave it powered down for 30+ seconds. Plug the power cord back in and it will turn on and power up.

If it doesn’t connect right away, try to go through setup again.

If it’s still not working, Wyze will almost definitely replace it for you.

I did all the unplug, hold reset button etc etc. multiple times till I just gave up on it and went back to work.

It suddenly started working again like an hour later, and it had the new firmware listed, so I don’t know what happened but it was certainly annoying.
