Wifi 6 vs Wifi 6e
no frequent firmware updates.
No VPN.
It’s a pretty basic Mesh WiFi system. I have the 6E. It works well. Solved all my weird Wyze Camera issues. I live in a 1600 sq ft house. I have 2 nodes. Main internet is centered in the house (that helps a lot). The other con is that they get REAL hot. I bought a little USB PC fan that I plug into the router to cool it. Helps a ton.
I’ve had them since launch. Great Signal and speed. Just no frills, no updates, and gets hot.
I thought maybe they’d have something like the “Wyze Cam Comparison Chart” but for the routers. Unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to be the case; however, I typed “mesh router comparison” into the search box on the Help Center site, and it returned this:

I realize that doesn’t answer all the questions, but I thought it was interesting that the chatbot provided that kind of summary, and it seemed worth sharing.
The big difference is getting a 6GHz band on 6e.
I just have wifi 6.
I recently bought a S24 that can work with 6 GHz. I wish I bought the 6e. But I only have one device that can work with the full capabilities of 6e.
