Is the robot vac supposed to remember the map of the house?

It does not remember boundaries I set from previous runs and I find my self having to let the vac go into a room then setting a boundary at each run. Defeats the purpose of scheduling if I have to be supervising the vac at each run.

I have the same issue. I hope a software update may fix this issue as it is very important for my home. I also hope they make virtual walls more user friendly

There is a new app to address some Vacuum troubles:

  • Android 2.16.55 (January 16, 2021) and
  • iOS 2.16.46 (January 16, 2021)

And a new Vacuum F/W update 1.6.75 (December 17, 2020)

I have the latest app and Firmware and:

  • It mapped my house pretty well on the third try (and after the latest app and firmware) but only saved about 80% of what it found
  • I now have rooms designated (although it thinks a hallway is a room)
  • But worst of all, I spent a lot of time setting up virtual walls and it remembered zero of them

Waiting for the next update in hopes it resolves these issues…
