I have an OG set up facing the street and have noticed lately that more often than not I’m getting partial recordings. For instance I just watched a video of me arriving home and the recording stopped before I even drove into the driveway without showing me parking or walking into the house. I’m also missing some records. I watched a recording of someone leave my house which stopped as they were walking down the path to the street and didn’t show them drive away.
The camera is set to record all motion and records to the web and I have Cam Plus. The app and camera firmware are all up to date.
Especially since you mention incomplete recordings and the use of Cam Plus, I wonder if you’re describing the same issue discussed in OG Events Skipped on micro sd card. Have you read that topic, and does it line up with your experience?
Which recordings are you describing that are incomplete? Are these cloud events that you access via the Events tab and/or the RECENT EVENTS section on Cam OG’s Live Stream screen? Do you use a microSD card? If so, then how do you have that recording set? If you’re using Continuous microSD recording, then do you see gaps in the recording timeline?

By the way, taking cam plus off this OG cam eliminated the SD card timeline gaps and incomplete event recordings. Only problem is, because it’s not cam plus, events aren’t recoded back to back, oh and the fact I paid for a service which is still broken.
Events should be recorded back to back, the second one just won’t be “tagged” or send a notification, but it is on the card. Obviously not a solution to your actual issue but just FYI. The “cool down” doesn’t affect recording, just tagging and notifying.
Okay, thanks. So your experience is all cloud related because you’re not recording to microSD at all. That’s what I was trying to determine, because initially your description seemed similar to another recent issue. I appreciate the follow-up.
If you’re seeing the 3-second issue with Cam OGs while you have the Cams open in Web View, then that’s been an issue for a while, and I’m not sure what the current status is. I’ve been distracted with other things and haven’t checked back into that topic recently.
