The uploaded recordings were inaccurately labeled as being 5 minutes long, when in reality, they contained a single video that encompassed 2 to 3 events.
There were gaps in the SD card during the occurrence of an event.
The streaming was interrupted upon detection of motion by the camera.

“We’ve just received an update from our team and can confirm that a fix is now actively being worked on by our engineers. At this time, we’re unable to provide a specific timeline for when the fix will be released, but we recommend keeping an eye out for upcoming firmware updates or new app versions, as the resolution will be included there once available.”
You’re welcome. Another advantage to linking to those other topics is that each of those topics now has a link to this topic in its respective initial post. At the bottom of the initial post there should be a line with “ {link_to_this_topic}”, hopefully to connect the discussion here if other users see it.
I just received an email from Wyze saying they have a fix and my cameras should be updated. I tested two of my cameras with All Events checked AND Smart Detection Events (People and pets in the customize recordings) and it appears to be working fine now. No jumping of video, no gaps on my SD card, no 5 min videos)
The problem continues to persist. I’m still awaiting my reply from Wyze. k.wittenburg apparently rec’d a response from Wyze saying ‘all good’. I’m still waiting on my reply. To be continued.
