I have 2 wyze cam v3 with plus subscription. No event is present after the 27th in the “Events” tab, no notification either anymore. Events are recorded on the sdcard though. Rebooted the cams : same Erased the android app cache : same Installed wyze beta app on android : same What’s going on ?

So this is a known problem ?! Not only wyze doesn’t provide any communication about this issue but they keep pushing this buggy firmware months after its release ! I always wait a few months before doing a firmware update to avoid this kind of issue (no matter the brand), but I’ve obviously overesti…

@spamoni So, I did some changes while I was home and person tagging is NOT working on any of my cams. I have it set to notify me of people, but events recording is set to on for all motion events. So I’m getting the events but they aren’t tagged as people when I’m in clear view of the cameras. Quic…

That is a good question, last I heard it will look only at the Selected Detection zone. But I will try to get eyes on this so we can get a definite answer. Question - now that the new app is out, have you both updated to it? If so, are you seeing any difference?

No, I’m updating the app now though and I’ll report back. Please do let me know about the detection zone. If I need to change my detection zone temporarily to help pinpoint the AI people tagging I can do that this weekend or next week.

Just posed the question, will let you know. However, will tag the usuals and see if they can answer with 100% certainty. Note, it could also be camera specific. @R.Good , @carverofchoice , @Seapup , @IEatBeans , @SlabSlayer Do any of you know the answer @towelkingdom posed with 100% certainty, l…

[image] spamoni: Do any of you know the answer @towelkingdom posed with 100% certainty, last I heard is that it will limit to the Selected Zone? I have only performed bench testing on tagging within the Detection Zone on the V3, which does respect the DZ when tagging… provided an object isn’t…

So, the cameras I’m testing this on to help out @wam is a v3 and a v2. They use a v3 from what i understand. The issue I have is that these 2 cameras of mine are used on my bird feeders and I primarily use it to watch the hummingbirds, so I have the detection zone very very small so it doesn’t pic…

I do use detection zones on many of the cams I listed, however I can’t be sure how much of me was within each included\unblocked DZ without getting really deep into the events recorded and overlaying them with the current DZ on each individual cam using one.

Here’s my camera view and the detection zones I have. [Screenshot_20230707-101501] [Screenshot_20230707-101531] [Screenshot_20230707-101601]

Those are super tight. I can’t comment on the V2 since I don’t have one to test. It has been a long time since the DZ overlap logic was added to the V3 and I tested it, but I can’t imagine it has changed in the V3 without an announcement somewhere. Assuming the logic is still there, if you are crea…
