Please create an indoor/outdoor 4k Wyze Cam with v3 night vision, with local flash drive storage too. Given your previous reasonable prices, I believe you’d reach a market that is in need. Thank you.

30fps V3 cam Pro
I wish Wyze would increase the amount of frames per seconds on the V3 pro.
15fps seems not enough to capture movements on the v3 pro.
Assuming most people would buy v3 pro to use as an outside camera, make sense to increase the fps on the camera to capture more movimento details.
fisheye camera. see it all at once and then with AI pull various flat views including panorama view from one video stream. Similar to Doorbell Pro but with wider range.
That’s the 360 concept that they already do that is patent. I believe Kodak holds the patents and designs on the 360 and you know how much everyone has to pay a third party to make their technology work. If not 360 videos would have been everywhere if it was open source. Too many greedy people in this world are the cause of technology being held back, Wyze is a great company with affordable technology, they are trying to be that company that doesn’t hold back the rest of the technological world.
FWIW, the founders told us that they could expand to add a super wide angle (fish lens) to the OG line if people were interested in it.
if you guys like this stack camera system we can expand this one to 5x, 7x, super wide angle, macro lens, maybe thermal, who knows
So far, you’re the only person besides me I’ve seen comment about this interest. I think it would be awesome. I’d also like Thermal.
Alright, I created a Wishlist for other Lenses on the OG that we can vote on here:
There is a poll at the bottom for which lens people are most interested in. You can select the option titled: “Super/Ultra wide-angle lens [Fish-eye] (see close to 180 degrees)”
I seriously doubt they can do thermal with just a lense. I have a FLIR and the internals are different from any camera I’ve ever seen.

A FLIR plug-in for The Wyze cam would be great. A friend of mine worked on FLIR in the Navy. I am sure they have improved the technology since then. I could use FLIR in a Wyze Dash Cam…
Outdoor VR style 360 CAM
It would be nice to have an outdoor VR style 360 panoramic camera with all wyze features. No one is making on like this for home security.
2k Telephoto Camera
The OG Telephoto is okay but would benefit greatly from an increase in resolution. Especially for anyone that uses the cameras for nature observation. I’d like to see the V3 Pro 2K with a Telephoto lens.
Create WYZE Cam v3 variant with short focal length
The WYZE Cam v3 has it’s focal length set too far for use monitoring things close up like aquariums or doing time-lapse on seedlings, monitoring hummingbird feeders, windows boxes or any number of things where being in close is required. There are a lot of DIY mods to the WYZE Cam v3 to open it up and adjust the focal length, but that usually compromises the water proofness of the unit. There’s even a DYI kit sold on Etsy to modify the WYZE Cam v3 to make the focal length adjustable without reopening the unit, but again the waterproofness is compromised. Wyze came out with a telephoto version of the WYZE Cam v3. I would bet there’s a market for a version of this product that does close-up work (ideally w/o the pincushion distortion of the fish eye).

They still havn’t come out with 4k yet. That should be the ultimate goal for Wyze. Is for a detail camera of facial recognition of people so AI can introduce people when they come up at their door anounced by alexa. The new thing today is that Alexa alerts you that your mother is here and it unlocks the door for her while she has groceries in hand. Wait is that a guy holding her Hostage, Alexa calls 911. 911 sees what alexa sees because the owner already signed a waiver a long time ago alowing 911 to get access to the acameras to the house if an emergency arrises. I know I would.
Pan Cam Is Great, But How 'bout Another Kind Of Pan?
I really dig the Cam Pan V3, but what about making a different Panoramic Camera?

I have one camera in the back yard that only sees about 3/4 of the yard. It would be really nice to be able to see and trigger events all the way across.

4k is useless if the image is over-compressed…
4k isn’t really needed if you have zoom. POE would address bandwidth needs and allow for long cable runs without the worry and expense of running 120v to the camera.

License plate readability PLEASE!!

Current camera footage only shows WHAT happened. It doesn’t show WHO.
Most people don’t come through the front door (closest to the camera) so it doesn’t help solve the crimes (except maybe porch package grabs).
We had some valuables stolen from our garage at night. Can’t make out the logo/graphic on the individual’s hoody nor any details (especially license plate) of the vehicles involved.
I’d pay 3-5X to have a camera that can read them (ideally record a pic or simply show the characters next to the time stamp).
4K would help; even less compression on 2K would likely be sufficient; or a 5-10x optical zoom could solve this SIGNIFICANT problem.
Wyze could OWN THIS MARKET. And help reduce a ton of crime.
Need Wyze to Release 4K Cameras…When will they be available??
Need Wyze to release 4K outdoor cameras. We need to get good outdoor video resolution at a distance. Yes, I know it will cost more than the 2K and 1080P cameras but it’ll be worth it.
