Bring back the 30 second forward backward button options on playback! Please get rid of the lousy slide choice! Why mess with it?
On Android, you can install an older Wyze App APK file. I am still using Wyze App version 2.50 and have the 30 second backward and forward buttons.

I think what you’re describing is a recent app change. I don’t have any (non-Pan) Cam v3s, so I don’t have personal experience with the “old UI”, but based a recent comment from Wyze in a Reddit AMA and discussion in Wyze App Update - 9/2/2025 and other Wyze News and Beta topics announcing recent app update releases, I’ve gotten the impression that they’re trying to create a more consistent UI across Cam models. I imagine that’s been a source of consternation for a lot of Cam v3 users.
Also please note that the Forum is primarily a user-to-user support community, so while your comments might be directed at Wyze I don’t know what the actual likelihood is of an employee reading them. Since you didn’t note which version of the app you’re using, you might want to look that up and then post a comment with your opinions on the UI changes in whichever announcement topic in Wyze News corresponds to your actual app version. For instance, if it’s Android app version 3.7.6.699, then yesterday’s announcement topic would probably make the most sense for such a post. You might have a better chance at someone from Wyze seeing it if you did that.
What App version are you using and are you seeing the 30 second backward and forward buttons in your App?
You mean the buttons pointed out in the screen capture from one of my V3 cameras on my android while in playback from the µSD card? This is with the latest (as far as I know) firmware and app versions.

I will reiterate:
Using the hotfix release from yesterday, I do have the 30-second forward/backward buttons on the overlay when reviewing microSD card footage from a Cam v4. I think a lot of the UI discussion recently with changes has been specifically about modifications to Cam v3’s interface, particularly when it comes to changes in the microSD playback timeline and controls for that. At least that’s what I gather from what I read here. Like I’ve said, I don’t have any regular Cam v3s.
I wonder if the OP’s missing buttons are specific to a certain camera firmware since the old and newer App versions still have the buttons.
I think that’s a reasonable thing to wonder. Understanding users’ problems is difficult when they don’t include details like app version, firmware version, etc.
