I saw the new firmware update and thought I would not install it on my cameras because of the issues I have had with previous updates. But then I thought that surely Wyze must have got better when releasing new firmware ……. How stupid I was! Now I am having connection issues with my 10 V3 cameras.…

My two Canadian cents, this has nothing to do with error -2001, as I don’t get it no matter how long I wait. Might be two different issues caused by the same bug.

@PCHearn , to paraphrase a joke I was told … when there are so many that you cannot count the number of happy customers, then you can say the customers are happy, but for now, the number of unhappy customers seems to be the countless number.

Update? Don’t you know that nothing escapes a Black Hole?

Has anyone heard anything about whether Wyze had made any progress ? It would be nice to get some sort of update.

I second @Seapup ’s comment. The beta version solved the issue and works great.

Thanks Habib and Seapup. So I assume Wyze will send a new firmware update and a new update for the app when beta testing is completed.

That’s correct. It shouldn’t take them too long as there is no negative feedback so far.

Thanks for the information - it will be good to get back to normal!

Looks like it’s in beta testing. Working great over here so far.
