Same issue here since I’ve enable the beta firmware.
I get the grey for about 2 seconds then it goes to normal.
Same here it is only grey for a second or two on my phone. Basically when the position bar is visible.
I can still see the video playing back, but it is grey until the controls disappear.
I just sent the log and ticket over. Additional items to be addressed.
On 10/26 I had two events of wyze app using the microphone.
Also do you guys have portrait mode lock on your phone when you rotate to landscape mode? I noticed before the new beta release, I was able to switch to landscape automatically when I rotate phone when on portrait lock. But now I have to unlock portrait mode on my phone in order to rotate to landscape automatically.
Another issue I had is when jumping from event to playback, after the 3/3 it comes up with a white screen with a loading icon, I guess it’s playing in the background because when the video comes up, the video is already few seconds in.
Anyone having these issues?

Thanks everyone! I’m seeing this as well – looks like it’s a behavior when the video is buffering while shifting from portrait to landscape. I can repro this and shared the behavior with the team.

What is this testflight you guys are talking about?
TestFlight is how Apple Manages Beta software. Anyone testing non release software on iOS does so primarily via the TestFlight program.

Now there is a whole new issue. The spelling error is still there, but now selecting Alexa from the Works With screen launches the Alexa App on the phone if you select Link Account. Is this desired behavior?
Yes now both are spelled “works with”. It opens up Amazon login page when I click link account.

@Wendy I can now see a snapshot in my notification panel for CMC videos.
1)Also sometimes when clicking up CMC videos from notification panel, there will be a thick line thru the bottom of the video and enlarged a little bit, as shown in this pic.
2) now I can’t zoom in or out on CMC videos, it will zoom in to a blue screen only with a time stamp on the bottom right and a thick line thru the bottom

Blink does this for free too. Up to 1 minute. Cooldown period option of 10s to 60s. They also have option to keep for one year and if storage capacity is reached, it will start overwrite from earliest clips. I don’t understand. Wyze could do this as well. Wyze have a memory card slot and is powered with a cable. They don’t have a limiting factor that blink have.
Any comments?
The big difference between the two is , wyze has unlimited storage for 2 weeks if you have 15 cameras storing clips daily no problem, if you have 15 blink cams and only one sync module your going to run out of storage quickly, you have to add more sync modules to your system to get more storage space

I also got notification that the app was using my microphone. That was the time I was viewing CMC clips.
