My wyze V3’s SD card does not record like it should. Sometimes it records other times it does not and I cannot figure out a pattern or reason to why it does it or when it doesn’t. But I would really like for it to work constantly like it’s supposed to. I haven’t said to continuous recording and yet it doesn’t do that. It seems to record for the first however long it’s connected and then it just stops.
I would try to format the SD card in a computer. Do a full format not quick format.
If you have other Wyze cameras with SD cards, swap them and see is the problem follows to the swapped cameras. This may indicate if the problem is the card or camera.
SD cards will fail, so i use only High Endurance rated SD cards in my cameras.
What is the solution to this problem? My camera is just sitting there for show; it doesn’t save continuous recordings to the SD card.

Unfortunately, I haven’t seen an official update from them in that topic for quite some time, so I don’t know what the present status of the issue is.
As with any problem, when requesting help here in the Forum, please keep in mind that you’re likely to receive better help from the community if you include as much detail about your experience (and expectation) as possible, including things like mobile device OS, app version, Wyze device model, firmware version, specific error messages seen, specific troubleshooting steps attempted, etc.
My pan cam v3 sdcard port has also quite working. This happened about 4 months ago. Card not recognized. Several firmware updates later it still is the same. Today tried swapping cards and the card is fine. It’s the camera port. Card is sometimes recognized but formatting fails. Does Wyze have any solution to this recurring problem.
Same case for me but for years now, I’ve even bought smaller size SD cards to test if that was the case but no luck, formatting through the app fails but all SD cards work perfectly on my computer even testing them gives back that they work perfectly.
