My cats regularly do…I even get “Person Detection” notifications for cats coming home at 4am. Also, we have Racoons visit regularly that used to get tagged as people, but now just get tagged as pets for the last several months (great learning there Wyze AI).
I know people that have and do keep spiders as pets. It would not surprise me in the LEAST if people have submitted videos with spiders in them and tagged them as being a “Pet.” Though to be fair, Wyze is pretty much intentionally classifying anything alive & not human as a pet, including all the wild animals people submit videos of.
That is a sweet creepy video…as long as it stays outside…

Spiders have been a pain in my butt lately, I have to go out and clean off their webs off the cameras the webs screw them up real good at night

I am sure my outside lights attract the bugs that atttact spideymegasarus. All my cams are in windows facing out.

That is one pet I get notifications for very often but usually is tagged as motion. Quite annoying actually. 
Last few years had bunch of lizards (geckos) move in and they eat all the spiders.
So do chameleons. 
Rarely see a spider anyomre.
