Wyze, you’ve gotta fix your [Mod Edit]. I can’t leave a garage door open without every shadow, leaf or change in reflection falsing motion, and I’d like to be able to do things like that. Sort of defeats the purpose of security monitoring if it’s going to cry wolf.

If you can’t get where you want to be using detection zones, sensitivity settings, and aiming, consider Cam Plus with the AI detections to filter out unwanted motion. If you pay yearly it is $1.xx per month per cam or $8.xx per month for unlimited cams.
I have unlimited on all cameras. All I see is AI for playback, not detections/notifications.
Disable “other motion” events and leave only AI events, you will only be notified when a matching object is detected. Thought that was kind of self explanatory.
Would be if that option showed in the app.

This is not just a conceit. About 72 hrs ago, notifications, set to notify only on Person detected, began notifying all motion. At first, none of the cams had a settings page that would allow setting notifications to perform ‘correctly’ (the way they had been working.) Now, some do, and some don’t. I had changed nothing, in accord with this:
