@Mods I know there is a page that tracks known issues, but it seems things take quite a bit to get onto that page, perhaps a forum where once 2 or 3 users report the same issue, a mod or maven can log it in that forum? That way people can be directed to it (or find it on their own) and perhaps it …

Now that I think about it, I don’t believe there has been a Fix-It-Friday since July of this year. I hope @WyzeJasonJ can bring it back. [image] Fix-It Friday - July 2024 Update Wyze News Hello everyone, Sorry about the pause in updates, we have been working hard to get …

Yeah, I miss Fix-it-Friday. It would have fit the need being asked about in here to get an issue to have priority based on what the community feels is the highest impact issue. Other issues reported to Fix It Friday were also passed on to the appropriate teams. It was a great and organized way of ke…

I get the feeling Wyze has spread themselves a bit too thin lately with new products and the new app. Before 4-5 months ago I never saw any major issues but then there was the OG detection zone issue, and the official firmware that fixes that appears to remove event icons from the timeline. Seem t…

I don’t think new [physical] products are affecting them that much, and have never agreed with people who suggest they should stop releasing new products. They have actually slowed the pace on that exponentially from the glory days of several products every month. This year has been insanely slow fo…

[image] dave27: they aren’t designing and building these products as we know Just to clarify, that is not accurate [anymore]. They stated publicly recently, I think it was in the last AMA, that a lot of their products have been all designed and built by them from start to finish lately. In th…

[image] carverofchoice: that is not accurate [anymore]. Not surprising that some stuff is being designed in house, but they’re not developing their own image sensor, wifi SOC, drivers, etc. Whether white labeling a pre-built product or designing a case to hold pre-made components, well I gue…

[image] dave27: but even they’re not developing their own image sensor, wifi SOC, drivers, etc …IOT devices are an assembly of off the shelf parts in 99% of cases. Ah yes, this is an absolutely FANTASTIC point! [image] dave27: I doubt they designed the vacuums inhouse either. No, I k…
