How do i go back to the basic v2 as this latest v2 and v3 is way more crap than usefulness. It’s making me work way more work than i agreed to when i started with wyze. Every time there’s an update my app updates without asking and resets everything to default settings, instead of keeping the settings I’ve set, so the recordings im supposed to have aren’t happening, which defeats the entire purpose. I paid for 24/7 with 30 days of recording when I bought my cameras, not events only, and only 14 days. Give me what I paid for, not what you want me to have. CROOKED SERVICE FROM WHAT I’VE SEEN SINCE YOU STOLE THE 7.99 UNLIMITED I PURCHASED IN SEPTEMBER 2023, ON JANUARY 1 2024 YOU THIEVES. WHEN THE APP OPENS NOW THEY’RE ARE NO IMAGES WHERE/ ARE SUPPOSED TO BE IMAGES THAT TURN INTO VIDEOS WHEN I CLICK THEM AS THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DO, WHAT KIND OF MORONS ARE RUNNING THIS CRAP APP NOW? THEY NEED TO DO A SEPARATE WEBSITE FOR THOSE JERKS WHO LIKE THIS BS APP, AND ANOTHER ONE FOR THOSE OF US WHO WANT WHAT WE PAID FOR, AND THAT WORKS. FEEL FREE TO CALL ME CROOKS, YOU HAVE MY NUMBER.
Honestly security is more important to me than any minor inconveniences introduced with an app redesign, as long as the app does still work. I’m glad to hear this.

I’m totally on board with security and especially with stability, which is why I began holding off on some Wyze app and firmware updates after reading Forum posts about the introduction of new problems with some releases. (I usually eventually get around to them; I’m just no longer doing them immediately unless I have a compelling reason, like some massive security hole that must be patched now.)
[Mod Edit] What good is security for an app that doesn’t work anymore, and refuses to do as I’ve directed and not update the app I need to view cameras I’ve paid for, not wyze personal.

Wow. As a country we are so divided. I installed the app yesterday. I found no issues with it. I was pleasantly surprised.
Were you able to see the regular cameras on the home page as it’s been for the last several years, with a group name to be selected if desired, or were you required to add favorites before you could see any cameras with the NEW BS app?

Livestream is always reloading. And I don’t have a bad wifi network.
This here, my wish, as a fixed start page.
Temperature plus humidity at the thermostat and the option to simply turn cameras/switches on and off. Without further tapping of submenus.
Could the Favorites page be different from the Group page? I click on my group list and easily see my eight cams. In group view I see more information either in portrait or landscape modes. Maybe try to see if it is speedier. I am not telling you to redefine your layout permanently, but as a test.

Unfortunately, you still have to visit each cam to turn them off. I leave my cams on or use a schedule to turn off the v2s that cannot see in the dark.
I have 100mbps down and 20mbps up.
Is there something that you like about the Wyze app?
Keep it quiet as Wyze will change it if they find out it works for people as it means they can’t sell you something else that doesn’t work as promised.
Since when did Wyze innovation mean SNAFU?
Everything, but the widgets could use some work.
I suspect this is what’s going to happen with my current tablet, a Lenovo Tab M8 (4th Gen) running Android (Go edition) 13. Google Play Store began offering me the v3.0 Wyze app on my Android 10 and Android 13 devices today, but it’s not showing up on the Android 13 Go device, so I expect to be using a Wyze mixed environment indefinitely (which I don’t mind at all).
Also, 
to the Nexus 7. The original (2012) version was my first Android device.
The new app sucks currently. Live streams slow to load on IOS or show offline. Give us a fix or restore the old app to the Apple Store.
