My notifications are not coming through to my cell phone when I am away from the cameras. Any suggestions? I should be getting these over the cell phone contections, right?
The system is working fine inside the house - with or without the WIFI on.

Hello @roclyn sorry to hear about your issue, I can link you to a troubleshooting article that should hopefully help you resolve your issue. If your problem isn’t resolved after trying the steps come back here and let me know.

Here’s the link to the article

The website information helped me (somewhat), I think that it is set now. The directions were hard to apply to what I was seeing on my app screen. We will need to run a test the next time I am out of the house. Thanks!

People keep saying routers plural, but the access points aren’t routing, they are just access points. If you actually have 2 or more routers ‘read DHCP servers’ you’re going to have problems. I don’t think that’s the case here though.

Also i have an asus router with the wifi off and 1 unifi ap pro and my cams are connected to that. Both of my cams have 100% signal strength and I have a 1000Mb connection down and 40Mb up service, and my cams won’t work remotely… So it’s not bandwidth. I can pull 150Mb/s on 2.4GHz with my phone (and up to 470Mb/s on 5GHz, but the cams don’t support that freq. currently)

I don’t even know if it’s a port issue because I put a cam in the DMZ and still no connection.

I think my solution is to return them to the store.
Shouldn’t have to open ports for a cloud based system.
