After all this time, we can’t we still get special push notification alerts with a distinctive sound for some cameras? After a while people get desensitized to the same sound over and over.
There are some cameras/detectors which may be in certain areas were at times nobody should be there at all and would like a special alert for those.

Custom ringtones needed
We need custom ringtone choice/option. The current 3 ring tones in the app do not work. Maybe it is cause of my Google Pixel 6, I don’t know. Still the app needs to have a clear option (that works) to assign ringtones to not just the app, but the individual devices owned.
Allowing us to hear a ringtone and know exactly what has happened with select WYZE app/devices.
I will continue to call support and ask (bother support) for this feature until WYZE makes that patch/update happen.

A custom Push Notification Tone for the Wyze App is already available as a function of the Android OS settings outside of the Wyze App.
A custom Ringtone can also be set in the Phone Settings for Video Doorbell Button Press when VOIP is enabled.
Custom Notification tones for specific devices, types of notifications, and Smart Detection AI types has been requested already in the Wishlist topic Individual Camera, Sense, Doorbell, AI detection type, etc. Alert Notification Sound and/or Color. Follow the link, vote for it at the top, like 
some posts, and add your reply post to support the request.
Since you use Android, this functionality can be achieved today by using a 3rd party App such as MacroDroid, FilterBox, BuzzKill, or Tasker. I use MacroDroid and have posted Step by Step MacroDroid instructions for setting individual device and notification type sounds.
Ringtones?
So why is there not ringtones for individual devices I own… I need my phone to ring and I know from the sound that is my doorbell, or my camera in the kitchen etc.

Individual unique sounds for each camera
Need ability to assign unique sound to each camera. For example, camera 1 in garage would make “beep” when motion is detected. Camera 2 on front door could make “ding dong” when motion is detected. The “sound” could be any sound available on my mobile device. This has been asked before but never done.

This feature request was first submitted in February 2019. It only has 89 votes. Other feature requests have thousands of votes and haven’t been developed yet. This feature request is still in the “Maybe Later” status. So, some hope… but definitely not soon.
I have Android. I didn’t wait. I have a custom notification sound for each of my 27 cams, each different AI type, Smart Alert type, each sensor, each HMS notification type and then some I am most likely forgetting. I posted how above.
How do you keep your notifications turned on? Everytime I get an update or something to Macrodroid. I have to start it up again. Any ideas?
It may be because your phone is killing the app running in the background. Much like the Wyze App, you want MacroDroid to be running in the background at all times.
In the MacroDroid settings, check these three areas: Battery Optimization disabled, get the Helper App, and Keep the Accessibility Service Running.
Additionally, in the 3 bar stack menu in the upper left, there is an option to explore an app called Don’t Kill My App. I have not had to use this, but it is an option.
In the OS App Settings for MacroDroid, make sure the options in Advanced are enabled, disable the automatic disabling if permissions, unrestricted battery use.
But… Yes. When MacroDroid updates the App, I usually have to open the app once to get it running again. I keep MacroDroid on manual update so I can do it right after an app update.
Plus 1 to having distinct sounds per device and type of trigger.

I tend to be missing most of the notifications from my doorbell as they blend in with the other cameras.
I have the Video Doorbell Pro and would like to see a couple notification enhancements added.
have the option for notification(s) that come from the doorbell to be a full screen rather than just a banner that comes across the top of the screen like all of the other cameras. (This would be similar to when I receive an incoming call on my iPhone). Even if it’s just when the doorbell button is pushed. Ideally the notification would come with a snapshot of the person at the door.
have the doorbell notification come with a different sound that stands out from the other camera notification sound. Again, if even just when the doorbell button is pushed. I think this would draw the attention to the fact its the doorbell rather than another camera notification.

I would like the alert to be very clear and not just be a sound.
I saw a similar post in wishes granted, but all the posts following it said it wasn’t actually resolved.
I want to be able to turn on Pet Finder mode, where I set motion events to trigger for pets… and be able to turn that off while I am still detecting or not detecting people.
When I am away I want different alerts for people vs other motion… for example, silent notifications for motion and an audible notification if there is a person detected.
So the rules have to be able to get to individual event types.

The AI algorith has trouble identifying the difference between an insect or spider from a person… let’s get that fixed first.
As for identifying the “what” you can simply rename your cameras as “Front Door” or “Back Walkway” then when it identified the motion as Person or Pet the notice would be similar to what you are requesting.
You can follow the MacroDroid instructions (link is above in this post from “SlabSlayer”) for setting up macros using your own MP3 or Sound Files that are triggered from the Wyze notifications. I would highly suggest you use MacroDroid rather than waiting for the Chinese or the Wyze developers to implement your suggestions.
For this request, you should be able to use the Wyze “Rules” to accomplish this.

It would be great if I could assign different motion/notification sounds to each Wyze cam v3. Then I would IMMEDIATELY know from where around my home the intruder is located without having to open the app. Ring products do this. I would think that Wyze products would jump in value with this type of service. I would pay a little extra for the ability to do so. Everyone, rally around all who use these products for security. I am becoming much more fond of the Wyze cams than my Ring products. The Ring products are fickle, Videos don’t always open and they go offline all the time and take too long to reset. I have to hand it to Wyze, their software and usability is getting better. If only I could get different notifications for each cam to my phone. Sometimes it takes too long to open the app and investigate which cam is sending me a notification because they are all the same. By then a bandit could be climbing into a window, busting down the door or breaking into my car. Come on people, support this premise. I know Wyze can figure it out. Ty
So many people have this same wish. I think it gets lost amongst different threads. Its a shame this isn’t yet implemented and possibily not even taken seriously.
Thanks for your reply. I would think that Wyze should take this seriously. Doing so would immediately vault their cameras and systems into serious competition with their competitors AND even more important make their Wyze cams marketable as serious security cameras and not just a camera to watch the dog or the kids while they are playing in the yard. I use their v3’s now for extensive security around my home. Since their software has improved over the past two years with few glitches I think they are better than my old Lorex wireless system and my Ring doorbell and Cam, both of which I continue to use. I live in a bad neighborhood where intruders or potential intruders are always patrolling the alley and the street out front. Its easy to identify those who are going to jobs and those who are looking to loot. When I’m retired for the evening, differing notification alerts from my various v3’s to my phone would tell me exactly where they are in an instance. Having to open an app when I’m half asleep and elderly in the middle of the night can be tedious while trying to figure out which v3 cam sent the alert because all of my v3’s have the same notification sound - seems very restrictive to me. My Ring products do so but they are too expensive, and extras they offer even more so, and do not seem to last as long. In fact, my Wyze cams have outlived two Ring doorbells and a cam and I bought the Wyze cams for a fraction of what I paid for the Ring products. Wyze could vault themselves into serious competition with their competitors if they did so and advertise as advanced security options. Hopefully, if they do so they won’t break my meager bank account. Seems like some simple software could handle such. I’m able to assign any notification I want to my ring products but Ring is slowly losing me because they are too expensive and seem to only have a use life of about 2 to 3 years if I’m lucky. I’ve had some of my Wyze cams now for about 5 years - one is a first generation camera and it’s still going strong. Also, the Wyze cams and settings seem easier to understand and use. I hope others will rally around and reply to my proposition. Ty
Event notification from camera
Would like a different notification (sound) for each camera so I know which part of my coverage is being invaded so I know where to run without waiting for set up screen on my iPad

Yes, I agree. Wyze engineers, please allow us to set up individual motion notification sounds for each Wyze Cam. PLEASE!!!
I would go nuts over this. There is a way to do it but it involves a ton of work to get it done.
I also setup some through Alexa routines.
But in the wyze app I’m sure it’d be better.
