How do you shut that off. Its so annoying it takes like 20 minutes to load a camera i dont need to see all the cams at once. Just the one i click on. But that one always takes forever to load the actual live view
I’m not sure I understand, but I will try to give you some options. The Multi-camera view is in the Monitoring tab. If you want just 1 camera in the monitoring tab, you can hit the edit button on the multi-camera view and deselect all but 1 camera and then just view 1 camera at a time on that screen too.
If you want to view a single camera at a time most people go to the events page or home tab instead to view them individually. For the events tab you can just filter to a single camera to view the cloud events. On the home tab you can put each camera on the favorites tab by itself and stream just 1 camera, and view the SD card playback for just 1 camera.
If you are talking about multiple cameras streaming on the favorites tab at once, you can disable autostreaming by going to the account tab, then App settings and there will be an option for Autoplay Video live stream which you can toggle off. You can even make the cameras take up less space by switching the camera card style to condensed instead of comfortable.
I hope one of those answers your question. If not, please clarify.
This sounds like you are on the beta app? These options don’t exist for those on the regular app.
I’m talking about the home screen on the app on my android phone, when I open the app all my cameras try loading the live view all at once and they all freeze up and I can’t figure out how to stop that, then all the cameras go in “failed to connect” mode and it’s a pain to quickly watch to see what’s going on outside, I just wish it was the old way where all the cameras didn’t try to load at once. I do have fast internet but I’m guessing not fast enough
The fix for this is to create camera groups. With groups the cameras only try to open when you open the group instead of opening all the cameras in favorites.

Honestly being on Android probably your best bet is revert to the old version of the app until they update the app again. The current beta version (the next update hopefully) looks like it will finally fix most peoples complaints with the new app.
Even putting cameras into groups really doesn’t fix the problem as once you open the group, all the cameras in that group will automatically live stream.
There are several threads on going back to the previous version, most people use a site like APK Mirror, then in the Play store uncheck auto update for Wyze.
3.2.0 b576
Android 14
Samsung S21 Ultra
The current beta b576, is a Release Candidate. It has been in beta over a week.
Huge improvements in the Favorites, and even the Devices screen. You will be able to select Autoplay or not, a Condensed View or not, individual cameras or groups.
Bottom line. The beta forum has gone quiet since b576. Personally I am pleased with what I am seeing–compared to only a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully b576 becomes Production Release in the next few days.
I don’t see this, app v3.1.5(569). Isn’t this the latest version?
@carverofchoice may have been referring to beta. I believe control of Auto play came in beta b574. It’s definitely in b576.
Yeah, my apologies. This fix should be available with this next app release.
That’s true with the current production app, and it’s still a potential pain point. What works for me is logically (in my mind) organizing the cameras into several groups based on where the cameras are and/or what they’re covering, so I have some camera groups with only a single camera in them (and they’re favorited so the groups appear on my Favorites tab); the most cameras I currently have in a single group is three, and opening that to stream all three isn’t too bad an experience.
That brings up another option for @norb427: Go to the Devices tab and UN- the cameras to remove them from the Favorites tab. Then you can tap Devices if you want to actually open a camera’s Live Stream and not have them try to load in the Favorites tab at all. You can also arrange your Devices tab so they’re still conveniently near the top in the order you prefer.
Pausing of auto play was included in the new production app version that was released today.
