Same here, but I have to admit I am also guilty of using this statement. Technology can be some unpredictable (even though it’s following commands exactly as written), that it’s easier to say it should work.
I mostly agree with this…though it can be a complex discussion. There are also physical factors that come into play sometimes that affect the code. For example, the famous origin of the term bug resulted because a moth got trapped in a relay in Harvard’s Computation Laboratory in 1947, causing an error, which they then started to call a “bug” because it was literally a bug causing the technology to be unpredictable. This can be expanded with the degradation of other hardware, etc. Plus memory leak issues or signal interference or many other things, But arguably what you say is ultimately still true even in all of those cases…it is still following commands exactly as written…it just wasn’t written with a solution for all of those other potential obstacles. So yes, ultimately I agree,

Yep, that’s exactly what I meant
People often get mad at their computers for being unpredictable or not following directions, even though it was a human that wrote those incorrect directions 
But with so so so many variables in a modern system, it’s impossible to account for all of them.

This is also on the firmware that just went into beta testing! Beta folks, please put it through its paces and let us know how the new build performs.
Reddit - Event recordings are skipping/stuttering
The .4054 firmware update is now available for everyone and we’re hearing that this issue is resolved! If you’re using this firmware, have you encountered the dropped frames/time travel issue since updating? Please let us know! Otherwise, we’ll remove this update from our list next week.
Discord - Wyze Cam v3 Pro spotlight will not turn off after first motion detection at night. Resetting fixes it but becomes an issue again about a month later
We believe we’ve identified a possible cause of this problem! We’re testing it internally and will send the fix to external beta later.
Reddit - Wyze Cam Pan v3 does not return to set home position
We don’t have further updates on this one yet. We’re still testing possible fixes from our side.
Core - Cameras appear offline in the app, though they are online and viewable
We have the design ready for the health checker that will help with this issue. It won’t be in the next release but we have it in the pipeline for a future firmware release.

Greater control over marketing pop-ups in the Wyze app
No further update for this one yet. We’re working on a toggle for improving control over marketing messages in the Wyze app. We’re also working on auditing what we send and when as well as a duplicate data cleanup initiative that will help ensure that messages sent to folks are more relevant to them. We’ll provide more information as we move forward.
Wyze Sense Hub Events not showing the correct time
We’re verifying if the proposed solution would work and don’t have further updates yet. We’ll keep providing updates for you!
