Explain your ‘handle’

Oh, wow! That looks like the IKEA Car. :rofl:

@TomG vintage post, 30+ months!!

Tom, have ever considered changing your handle? Or just had an alternate occur to you that you liked?

Ohhhh, I know some of you folks have more than one account, but not me. I’m simple!

Buh-bye (for now!) :slight_smile:

A user on my BBS had the handle Studley Rockhard. He looked and sounded just like Howard Sprague on the Andy Williams show.

The only handle i ever use is FixIt.

There were lots of Norman Rockwell comic types on that show, Howard was a good one. Fixit it is, also a good one! :slight_smile:

I read that Andy Griffith was not a good father in real life. I find that hard to believe. Don’t ruin the image of a popular deceased person.

Like when I found out Gene Kelly whom I thought was a great person, the first time he met Debbie Reynolds he shoved his tongue down her throat. She had never been kissed before.

Lost any trust in stars when they started to tell me how to vote.

Oh wow, maybe he was more like Lonesome Rhodes?? Bummer.

Gene Kelly, too? Double-bummer-plus. That’s a bad thing. :frowning_face:

It is always tough to hear bad things about people who are deceased. Here are a collection of stories I have heard about celebrities who are still with us.

Yikes, that looks like a link of misery, @StevenA . Is there any light at all down that :hole: . :wink:

I’m still stinging from Fixit 's dark rumor about Gene Kelly…

…Two weak candles:

I have it on good (second-hand) authority that Faye Dunaway and George Clooney were loose and friendly with lowly crew on the set back in the day.

Here is a second hand good story. A friend of mine was an executive for Columbia recording company. He had a lawyer do some legal work for him and the lawyer asked for Frank Sinatra concert tickets. The record company exec got the lawyer front row seats to a Frank Sinatra concert. Frank comes off the stage and walks to the lawyer’s seat. Frank shakes the lawyers hand and says “you help my friend out of a tough jam and I wanted to say thank you”.

Just wanted to add some balance to some of the negative celebrity stories being shared.

Yes! Thank you! Now you’re talkin’! Woohoo! yahoo

I need that animated ‘exuberant’ emoji @Seapup uses.

Good story.

OMG, I invoked it!   :rofl:

Thank you black, skullish demi-deity… :skull_and_crossbones:

I think I don’t wanna go there given their position on things lately. They may see bright flash of light soon. Bad for frogs. :astonished:

I really don’t understand why @Sam_Bam won’t tell us what his handle means. Why is he withholding affection from us?

I like him. He’s a little stubborn, sure, but who isn’t?

Oh, well, it’s a personal choice, a thing each must decide for himself. I respect that. :wave:

@G2740, I found it!

It was @Known1 I had you crossed with!

I’m not slipping, just a little slow… :smile_cat:
