I’m a middle aged dude that has worked in the IT industry for over 25 years. I have done everything from traveling implementation services, traveling technical software pre-sales, software support within a call center, systems administration, network administration, project management, and more. I have worked for a small MSP that had a dozen employees to large fortune < 100 organizations that had multiple data-centers on campus with a large scale enterprise class infrastructure.

With my vast and well rounded experience within the IT industry, I have the highest of expectations when it comes to technology. I cannot stand excuses or attempted justifications for crap products or releases. I also hold people and corporations accountable.

A few of my hobbies include touring on my motorcycle, plinking, bird watching, and ice fishing.

My favorite movie quote is from The Outlaw Josey Wales: “Don’t piss down my back and tell me its raining.” Although the context within the movie is pertaining to government, in my view this quote applies to modern day corporations as well.
