Doorbell v2 goes offline daily

This is getting very frustrating. Ive powered on and off, did a total reinstall and have done plenty of router reboots and it still happens daily. I just did a router reboot and its still offline. Sometimes its offline for 5 or 6 hours then magically reconnects without any intervention. I need something reliable and this hasnt been one bit.

Make sure that you don’t have any parental controls enabled on your router that was my issue it kept doing the same thing to me as well.

I think it has to be something on your network. I have 2 of these, and they basically never go offline for me, not even during the last Wyze outage this month. They have nearly 100% uptime. I would check and see if there is a low signal strength, interference, parental controls or firewall issues, or other various settings.

Having said that, it COULD be that the one you received has some kind of defect. It happens with electronics sometimes. That’s what return policies and warranties are for. I would contact support and have them walk you through all the troubleshooting and then if it’s still not resolved, you can see if they’ll try exchanging it. If the new one has the same problems, it’s almost definitely something with your network/router.

Mine went out too often also. I eventually just quit using it. Too much of a pain to constantly reset and never knowing when it wasn’t going to work was a pain. 3 out of 4 of my WYZE products have died. None seem reliable. :cry:
