Out of curiosity, did you ever 3d print the latch? I have the same issue and before going down the road of superglueing is, I wanted to know if you were able to fix it

Could not justify replacing the entire power head that will result in the same poorly designed bearing failure. I solved this with 3d printing a new roller brush end and bearing holder cap. Used a pretty standard 6900 sealed bearing I had on hand. I had to cut out the end plug in the roller brush that holds the current small bearing. I did not glue in the new plug (just friction fit in case I need to make changes). I left a hole in the cap so when you remove the brush you can press the brush out of the bearing with your thumb.
