I donāt like rum either, but my wife went to Cuba with our daughter couple years ago and brought me a bottle of craft Cuban rum. That was the best drink Iāve had in my life, and I am very picky when it comes to spirits. This thing beats Glennfidich 18, my favourite scotch. I canāt remember the name for the love of God and I didnāt keep the bottle
Hereās to good spirits!
Salute Frog Man
Towel Queen is a super busy lady in recent times. I know some of why, but will leave it up to her how much she says publicly.
May I ask you a somewhat tangential question?
No.
Okay, j/k. You may always ask, and I will likely respond, but I may not āanswerā all questions.
For example, you may ask for my financial account/security info, and I may respond, but I wonāt give you the āanswerāā¦ Similarly,You may also ask me about someone else, but if the answer is for them to share, or not kind, I may not give it myself. But you may always ask.
Towelkingdom did share some info with us last fall. I remember this thread because I was in the hospital about the same time. I had a nerve condition and have fully recovered. I hope towelkingdom can say the same.
That is sound policy. Thank you.
I think I will claim to have been the first person on the forum to ask if I may ask a question. That is my achievement. Celebrate me.
Actually, I like the way it felt. I did have a question but upon reflection (time for which my requesting permission afforded) I no longer needed or wanted to ask.
And I donāt think Iāve ever said āmay I.ā 'Twould usually be ācan.ā
These are constructive developments. Perhaps weāve turned a corner.
Hmm, I am not sure that is accurate. Here are some contenders though depending on what counts as asking if you can ask:
July 2020:
VS Sep 2018:
Feb 2019:
Another July 2020:
Dec 2018:
July 2019:
Dec 2019:
There are several others, but there is space to argue that all of the above mean you may NOT qualify as the first person to ask if you may ask a question.
Sorry, to be the one to inform you of your memory, but you have:
So much for NEVER.
OMGā¦did you finally learn ārestraintā and mastery over your inhibitions in your old age? That is actually something I will celebrate with you, my friend! Half of society NEVER learns that. Congratulations! I am very proud of your new achievement!
Nothin but
my froggy friend.
I brought receipts.
Butcher of Ignorance. And Illusions.
Whoops. May I exert playful pressure on you to host a topic for the good of the community?
And now that @StevenA is fully recovered heās fit to host the Wyze Jeopardy topic heās been deferring. No time like the present, old chap!
(Cāmon, Steven, no one has ever done anything Iāve suggested they do, you could break the streak! )
Your first sentence above seems vague to me. If you are saying I should start some Wyze Forum threads, it is rare but I do occasionally. Only if I feel the Wyze community might be interested in a thread I create. This one comes to mind.
I am not a big fan of Jeopardy (all though I do watch it occasionally). My Jeopardy comment was in response to your āNo questions will be answered in this threadā discussion. Wyze Jeopardy came to mind.
If no questions will be answered then maybe the answer comes first.
Example:
āThis Wyze camera was one of the latest to be supported on Cam Plus Liteā
āWhat is a V3?ā.
Yah, you seem little amused, so the main thrust of the comment has failed.
One of these days Iāll ask and someone will answer the call. Not today. Ok.
P.S. I hate Jeopardy, but I think itās a natural for on-topic (WYZE STUFF!) competitive play. I mean, I wonāt play it, because I hate it, but that may be something to feature: a thread in which wonāt be involved!
( Itās possible, of course, that Stevenās employing extremely dry humor, in which case, Iāve missed it (not really, I left open the possibility but sallied forth despite) but really is that fair, dry humor sucks the life from amphibian skin and makes me less pliant, not something anyone nice should ever aim for
)
(Meta-analysis to follow in ten parts. Guess who? )
50% of my postings above are humor. The other 50% is trying to digest your statements or questions and respond in a mindful manner. Both halves make this forum enjoyable for me.
Wow. This is a long thread.
