Congratulations, Anniversaries, Birthdays, Forum Badges Awarded, Achievements, Celebrations, etc 🎉

I thought Day of the Flemish Community was a rolling date that was some sort of celebration of Dutch cultural remembrance. :person_facepalming: I guess they just lumped everything into one? Should have just left it alone at Feast Day. Thank you for the enlightenment!

7/11 is also the day the marine corps become official, and the day Alexander Hamilton was shotby Aaron Burr in a dual (and subsequently died), and in 1987 it was “5 Billion Day” (allegedly the day when the earth reached a population of 5 Billion people),

Supposedly it’s also cheer up the lonely day, so may you be visited by your :raccoon: :smiley_cat: :rat: crew.

The :smiley_cat: has already been here stealing the :raccoon: water. I let him slide today because it is 105 degrees outside.

That’s my wife’s favorite icon. She collects old French 20 Francs coins. :+1:

My 10th to my 4th Great Grandparents were all from the City of Namur, Namur Province, Belgium. My 4th Great Grandfather screwed it up, he was a soldier and came to the Netherlands (Sluis Zeeland) and got married 1 January 1786 in Breda, North Brabant Netherlands. Some of the clan stayed in Holland and others returned to Belgium.

@Earl.Automation I wanted to say how much I appreciate having you in the forum!

Because your profile is private, I don’t actually know what your REAL Forum Anniversary is, (though I have an educated suspicion it’s likely on or near Nov 25 2020), nor do I know your birthday, etc. But that also means the forum probably never reminds me when is a good day to say that you are appreciated (showing an icon when it is your anniversary), so I just wanted to do it now!

You have been in here for YEARS helping people, answering questions, contributing, reporting issues, sometimes joking around, beta testing, sharing alternative insights, participating in various things, you are intelligent, insightful, and helpful, and I shouldn’t need to wait for your “Anniversary” or “Birthday” showing up in the forum to tell you that a lot of this is recognized and appreciated by many in the community, including myself. It’s been a pleasure to have you in here, and even if we don’t know your exact anniversary dates(s), etc…I’m going to say it now.

Congrats and THANKS for being active and helpful in here for 4-5 or more years, and for making efforts to improve Wyze for everyone and help people and share information. I just wanted you to know you’re appreciated buddy. I hope to continue to see you around for a long time to come. :+1:

:tada:

Pro Slurpee tip. When at the beach ( there are 7-11s all along A1-A in Fl) Take a miniature of rum in to the 7-11 and get the Pina Colada slurpee, Mix well. Bonus tip, there is a liquor store beside most 7-11s from Ormand Beach to Miami.

Always pays to consult a pro!

Amateur drinker. Pro at not paying $14 for a poolside / beach drink. And 7-11 has snacks.

Egregious!

I actually plan to try the pena colada mixer idea if I can find it without too much trouble.

Just drink the rum straight and save some $$$. I don’t like Rum,

What did rum ever do to you? (I did a stupid thing with Irish Whiskey and Orange Soda when I was thirteen. Yes, I don’t like it anymore.)

Orange Soda or Irish Whiskey?. I am a big supporter of Jameson (The regular original version) of Irish Whiskey.
Maybe you should try this and relive your youth.
