Orange Julius is not really a Slurpee/Slushee. It’s yummy, but a hybrid dairy product.

I often mix mine with several flavors, but I think I like Piña Colada or Blue Raspberry, unless I’m tired and sleep deprived, then I might get a caffeinated one…but I generally try to avoid caffeine when I don’t need it (I know…this is basically heresy in our culture). I’ll often drink something with caffeine every couple of weeks, but I try not to use it more often than that. Even then I’m trying to move more toward leveraging some caffeine alternatives that have some good promising research behind them like Enxtra, Mangifera Indica, or even theobromine (another Xanthine, but found in real chocolate and it lasts longer, with fewer negative side-effects and actually has some positive health benefits). But yeah, I’m okay with being a caffeine heretic. :joy:

I don’t feel guilty for indulging in a few guilty-pleasures. Ok, more than few.

Anybody knows what’s the slurpee capital of the world? Googling doesn’t count

So you were the weird kids. Everybody in college went to get pizza after staying all night and getting smashed

Wow. I never would have guessed that answer. :canada:

I won’t deny we’re weird kids  even to this day (about many things)

However, I definitely pulled plenty of all nighters and still do. And my wife stayed up all night in college sometimes, and we often stayed up late (we had a pretty active social life), but late vs all night is a big difference.

To some degree, going to bed in the morning doesn’t really count much to me either since it’s basically just going to bed late.

I had to. I had no idea. But who would have guessed more people love slurping Slurpees in the frigid North than the sweltering South?

I could totally crush an Icee or Slurpie while sitting in a snow pile here in MN. Not northern north, but still north.

Is sitting in a snow pile the remedy that allows gulping a Slurpee without suffering brainfreeze? Now I’m going to have to try that.

Not really, i am way more of a fall and winter person than a spring and summer person. The time of our cake days man!

Most importantly today is the celebration of the Battle of the Golden Spurs,
11 July 1302 when the Flemish kicked the :poop: out of the :frog:(s) :fr:

That’s important considering Vlaanderen has no Slurpees. Hmmm… slug a pint in celebration or slurp a Slurpee whenever you want? Tough choice, but I’ll go for the pint. :+1: But there is no Battle of the Golden Spurs holiday. :pensive: Happy World Population Day! beer3

This day commemorates the Battle of the Golden Spurs on 11 July 1302, when the French army suffered an historic defeat at the hands of a Flemish people’s army.
Full disclosure- I come from a Walloon Family
