Compatibility with Echo Hub

Hi Folks, I am contemplating acquiring a Amazon Echo Hub, however before doing so I am using this medium to ascertain whether the Wyze v3 camera and the Doorbell v2 is compatible with the Echo Hub
All replies will be greatly appreciated.

I believe @R.Good uses an Echo Hub with his Wyze stuff, so I’ll call him in here to comment.

I use Echo Shows and they work great with my Wyze stuff.

Just diving into it… I can give more of an overview in the next couple of days.

When you say compatible, What are you looking for?

I can tell you that the Doorbell v2 and V3 Cameras are able to be streamed on this device.

You can indeed. I have tested both the V3 and Doorbell V2 by way of Alexa voice request and “Button Selection” to view a live stream on the Echo Hub.

*Please note the stand you see is one I 3D printed for the Echo Hub

Does the doorbell view show up automatically if someone rings the bell?

No it doesn’t!

ah that’s a shame, might be a dealbreaker for me

Not out of box, but you can setup a routine in Alexa so when the doorbell is pressed it will show you the video on the Hub.

And Welcome to the forum @nkonstantakos!

Oh excellent – thanks for that. I just got mine yesterday…I’m not sure how I feel about the lack of configurability with some of these widgets. Am I just doing something wrong or can you not actually choose what your own favorites are in the favorites widget? :joy:

Edit: Seems like you can actually modify the favorites in the Alexa app, but it doesn’t let you favorite routines. I just feel like I should be able to have all the scenes I typically use in a room right next to the light controls…

Yea, it’s all setup in Alexa. Def needs some improvement but its a solid start.

This is how I was expecting the Echo 15 to be, but it was a let down.
