I had to move an older sensing bridge from cam pan V2 camera to another static V2. I realized I needed to reinstall the bridge on the other camera, but there is no option to install a legacy sensing bridge from the new app.
The new app has the ability to install legacy cameras and sensors - but not the bridge?!? Any ideas anyone? Thanks!
You don’t add it the same way you do all the other devices. You have to open the camera to the live stream page, then click on the Settings gear icon. Then in settings there is a section called Accessories. There you will see an option for the Wyze Sensor Bridge.
This isn’t a change with the new app, I believe it’s been this way for a long time, maybe since the very beginning.
If you didn’t delete the bridge off the old camera it might even just load up and keep running all the sensors that were already paired to it. I’ve been able to do this when I switched cameras in the past.

By the way, you may also see a ghost bridge on the old camera. And there’s no clear option to delete it off the old camera. Were it not for this group, I likely would have pulled the two remaining hairs out of the top of my head. The trick is, you delete the old camera, and the ghost goes with it. You can add the old camera back, and the ghost is not there.

Yes, I remember that. It seemed that deleting and reinstalling the old camera was the only way to remove the ghost bridge off of it.
It might be worth doing that when you switch cameras just to make sure there are no potential conflicts…though, doing so before you set it up on the new camera may unpair all the sensors. It’s been so long, I can’t remember anymore.
