I subscribe to cam protect on an annual subscription. I also have an annual license/subscription for cam+ unlimited. The cam v3 I have assigned to cam protect is also assigned to c+unlimited. Inexplicably, cam protect in the Wyze app refuses to retain the v3 as the assigned cam. I can assign it, I am asked if I want to switch it from cam+ to cam protect, I click yes and the switch is made. I then have the v3 streaming on the cam protect page.
I then exit cam protect to view other cam activity and in a matter of seconds, a red dot appears on top of “Monitoring”. I click on monitoring and am confronted with an assign camera interface to complete cam protect setup. I’m concerned and tired of this continual cycle.
Since I can’t manage cam+ unlimited and camera assignments, do I need to go online to Wyze/services and try to remove that v3 from cam+? All of my registered cams are automatically assigned to cam+ becayse of my annual unlimited subscription.
Any tips on how I can make the camera assignment in cam protect stay connected? I have prefer not to go to support if I can avoid it.

You will for sure have to talk to support about this. And I don’t think that even they can help. The problem is that wyze changed cam unlimited to automatically pull all cameras onto it And lock them there. I keep telling them this is a mistake and they should not keep them locked there.
I’m going to share this example with them as yet another issue the new Cam unlimited policy is causing.

I did not create the 2nd log for this issue due to being ill for the past few days. However, I do have an update to report. Inexplicably, for the past 3 days, my cam protect v3 cam assignment has remained intact without being switched to cam+unlimited. I hope I am not jinxing myself or I need to give credit to you for your last intervention. For now, I will continue to monitor this and report any changes affecting this service.

That’s great to hear!!! Please tag me if that changes. I like to keep up with this so I can be well informed when I discuss the issue with Wyze. 
Now, if only it worked for Cam Plus Lite too. Maybe it does? Maybe I’ll test it out when I have spare time.
Thank you my friend. Would you believe last year this time I was beginng an almost 2 months battle with long covid. At least this is a bad cold with sinus congestion. Should recover soon.
