I experienced the outage, as most of my 9 cams were down
Most have now started to come back up ( as of 2/16/2024 -12:30PM Eastern Time)
UPDATE: v2 cam and lights are back working on the app, but I do not receive notifications that camera has defected motion.

It is making me think a few things
Was this a hack of their servers that caused this disruption
Also, only thing that comes to mind for you to see someone elses camera
Is either MAJOR system corruption or a hack of their systems
many companies are being hacked in the last few months
Prudential Insurance was just hit, many others in the last few months.
Yes, events are being recorded. I don’t have notifications on right now so I’m not sure about that one. Oh, and events during the outage were not recorded but the old are there.
I also got a notification for someone elses camera - looks like a barber shop.
There are many reports of people seeing other people’s cameras…. That is extremely concerning. I just turned all my cameras off.
Last event recorded by my cams was 6 hours ago, app is completely unresponsive to adding the devices back. Tried full reinstall. Fun times
My cameras seem to be working now. For those people bashing Wyze, your barking up the wrong tree. You can blame Amazon.

My five cameras are working, but events are not !!
Very disappointment in this whole situation. Was flying blind in a crime riddled neighborhood for over 12 hours.
When I woke up this morning I could not connect to any of my 7 cameras which are all on cam plus. 2 hours later they were back online but the app would not list any past events. Finally, at 10:20 am the events tab was showing past events, but this further demolishes any trust I had in the company!
What a [Mod Edit] company. They added surveillance stuff and their cameras are down for hours. Are the servers in your basement? The server status page, they posted ‘oh there is an issue’ 6 hours late. When this happen it should fall back to the internal network to see cameras at least without the recording/ai/etc.

Guess I’m canceling my cloud service subscription. I have that cheap one but I can’t rely on this company. If anything you should be able to view your camera at home w/o a dependency to Wyze network service. I have Ring for my security service, which is pretty reliable. Wyze cameras are just extra ones I use which aren’t important but I can see it’s definitely not for security purposes given today interrupted service, I’ve lost 2 or 3 cameras to FW update also, no fault of mine but I was out of warranty. Only reason I’m using them is because they’re cheap, apparently not just in price now
Same. I have 6 cameras working but no events.
I refreshed my events and they came up from about 10:26 MT … oops refreshed again and they all disappeared!!
Seems like ‘they’ erased all my cloud events for my 20+ cameras.

My Battery cam pro cams are back working. 1 of 2 outdoor cams now showing battery 0% critical but is fully charged. Wyze pan cam not responding now. Was working a while ago. Very strange day all around.
